Im stupid.

I tested stupid early at 5dp5dt (10po) yesterday evening and got the faintest little squinter. So tested again this morning and the line was there, no squinting required.

Ive been to work, then come home, stupidly tested again and guess what, the line is fainter than this morning. Ive drank about 1.5litres of water today and 2 coffees (decaf)

Im worried its a chemical 😏

Did this happen to anyone else and the outcome was good? (No bad stories please, im wanting some PMA)

Thanks

I forgot to mention...
Ever so slight symptoms, off my food (very unlike me) stuffed nose. Cramps, twinges and back twinges.

I know nobody can call this, just want to hear something positive.

Thanks

You are a silly Billy:) testing this early and not your first morning wee - the line is sure to be lighter!
I have no stories but this wouldnt be negative for me - try and relax and try one in a day or so in the morning and then report back on your bfp!!

Good luck

The hormone levels are more diluted in the evening as you've been drinking all day compared to.first thing when it's concentrated... id say symptoms plus ANY line is cause to be optimistic :) retest in the morning if it will help the worrying. I tested every day for a week or more with my daughter, sometimes twice a day! (I got a faint positive at 9dpo so like you i then worried I'd tested too soon to be sure!)

Thank you.
Oh do hope you are both right.
I had a long drawn out chemical on my 2nd cycle and i didnt find out until i was 6 weeks.
With my DS, i test on 5dp5dt and the lines just kept getting darker (he was a twin at that point though)
Should i ever have to do this again... never will i test this early again.
Such a head f**k

Hugs. Sorry to hear that.its still early days though. X

Babbabump · 14/11/2019 08:11

I'm sorry to hear that :( I've no experience of chemicals but they sound cruel x

Pigeon84 · 14/11/2019 15:15

After crying all day, i went and bought more tests, as my close friends/family werent convinced it was over.
I peed in a pot, wiped and i was spotting brown blood (thought great, just bought 2 bloody tests) and was slightly relieved it was over..
I figured i may as well test as id opened up the wrapper....
And not only was it positive, it was a stronger line!

Now, i dont know what to think! Perhaps a faulty test that gave me the 'almost' BFN.

Ive given up testing for now. Id rather continue in the bubble that this may not be a chemical (im not overly convinced it isnt)
I am going to try and not test until monday 😬

Eurgh, give me a little hope please?

Can see a line for sure! Keep us updated and tentative congratulations

pottypotamus · 14/11/2019 16:03

Got my fingers crossed for you OP!!
Leave it a couple of days and test again, hopefully line will be even darker xxx

Babbabump · 14/11/2019 16:46

My goodness your poor nerves must be shot at! Eek thoughat your potentially exciting news :)

Pigeon84 · 14/11/2019 17:00

Thank you!

Ive had to stop testing as it has taken it toll. Ive taken holiday today and just vegged out in front of the tv.

It will be pretty cruel if this does end up still being a chemical eh!

Me and OH have decided to test on Sunday morning 😬 im so very nervous.

I will keep you updated xx
