Anyone else with long cycles? 32-34 days

Hi there,

Does anyone else have long cycles? Mine have varied between 34 to 36 days but I have had a 30 day cycle. I'm finding it really hard to keep track of cycles and when I'm ovulating etc because they are not consistent month by month.

Can anyone with similar cycle lengths share their experience with this and in regards to pregnancy, has it or does it cause issues?

TIA Smile

I can't really help but am interested to see what other people say. Since stopping the pill my cycles have been 28, 27 and 33 days so I don't know how to follow my cycle either.

Mine are anything from 35-50, should I see a doctor?

@PurpleFrames I think 50 days is quite long so that may be worth seeing the doctor about.. I think upto 36 days is normal but it's still long so I'm worried that it's causing issues with conceiving..

My cycles used to be 34/35 days long. (Used to be as I take cerazette now and have no periods any more) I tracked the cycles for a year before ttc and I always ovulated on day 20. I got pregnant on the first attempt so for me the long cycles had no effect on ability to get pregnant. Hope this helps in some way.

@MrsApplepants i always read that you ovulate on day 20 but my ovulation tests have always been negative on that day. I think I must ovulate around that time.. this month I got some watery CM on day 22/23 (TMI!) which I've never had before so I'm not really sure what to make of that as it's never happened before Confused

I got one of those machines with the testing sticks - I found it really interesting actually, didn’t fancy monitoring discharge & taking temperature. Some of the other cycle signs and symptoms linked in, some were a bit off. But I really think it helped me get to know myself more IYSWIM. The machine was by clear blue from memory. It was a bit spendy from what I remember but I did enjoy getting to know my body a bit better with it.
