Hey, I'm 30 DH is 34. We have been TTC since January with not even a hint at a BFP. Eventhough we DTD very regularly throught the cycle for the past 2 months I decided to track my ovulation. I have been using clearblue advanced and get flashing smiley around CD7/8 and a solid smiley around CD 11/12. We tend to DTD everyday when we get the flashing smiley until the day after the solid. Is this too much? How often and when should we be having intercourse in relation to the smileys?

I think the NHS recommend approximately every other day and just keeping to that regularly not just around ovulation time. There are loads of different theories though so you’ll get lots of different advice.
I think the only time it will really make a difference is if there’s a problem with sperm in which case sometimes every day isn’t advised and they recommend less frequently but the doctors would probably tell you that if there was a problem.
We’ve been trying since June but no luck yet.
Good Luck! I’m sure your BFP is just around the corner!

The best way to get pregnant is to not think about it. Have sex because you want to not because you think you need to. I promise you this will work!
