Realistically, when can you get pregnant?

I stopped my pill 3 weeks ago.

Can you actually get pregnant in the first month? Or is it impossible?

I've had my bleed after my pill, but not had a first 'proper' period yet (obviously).

Of course it's not impossible to get pregnant the first month-if it were, you wouldn't ever need to worry if you forgot up to a month's worth of pills, you'd still have effective contraception. Obviously that is not the case.

I suspect that you can, don't you read of people falling pregnant after forgetting their pill, or being sick. So I expect its just horses for courses.

I got pregnant in my first month of proper cycle. It took 6 weeks for the withdrawal bleed to come, BFP 4 weeks after that. If it wasn't possible then noone would need to worry about missing a pill surely.

Some people say you are more fertile immediately after coming off the pill.

My first took 1 month and now baby no 2 took 6 months... So I really think its all down to luck lol!!
