@Gems7 oh chick 🤗❤️ listen it is going to happen! How long did it take with you first? I think we have to realise that we was a lot younger then and even though we're still young it can just take that extra bit longer! I'm feeling a lot better than. I did the last months because I'm like eff it it'll happen one way or another! I am scared there's an issue but telling myself things will work out. I think ad a lot of people point out, it's normal to try for a year! It's just really hard to wait!! We want it nowwww lol.
Three more months of being within the 12 month range for you (if nothing happens this cycle) but I know its going to happen it's just going to take some time! Maybe if your partner drinks try and get him to slow down on it and take zinc among other supplements every morning. It takes 3 months for sperm to change! (I don't know if you've already done this lol) but sending you hugs because I know how hard it is and how much it can really play on the mind. 🤗🤗

This is the first month I've relatively felt like normal and managed my emotions a bit better hah! I dunno. How long it will last but hoping it will!! ❤️
I'm 8dpo no symptoms, cramps last night probably normal and a dip in temp today which I usually get. 🤷‍♀️I'm probably feeling better knowing that tests are being done

@Robbo93 Ohh okay. Are you getting more tests done to see if maybe you need some medication to help ovulation? Definitely keep. Tracking your bbt. Did you say before that you're getting bloods down to see of you ovulate? Xx

Gems7 · 01/03/2020 19:37

@Missgoldilocks you have no idea how much I needed to read that. Thankyou, you are such a lovely person, and I really needed that positivity today. I was just having a moment of feeling sorry for myself. I've been pregnant before, granted it was years ago but i know I can do it again. I know my body can do it, it's just frustration isn't it because it's not happening now. I was one of those irritating swines we all hate who got pregnant without even trying/wanting to when I had my son, I was 24 when I had him. Ive been pregnant twice because I had an abortion when I was 19 also. My partner drinks at weekends, but I agree with you, next cycle I'm going to ask him not to drink at all and take zinc, coq-10 and vit c. I already have zinc here he just hasn't taken any yet. Also going to make him go back to his gp.
Big hugs to you also mrs, you've made me feel so much better, miss debbie downer is no more!! 😃
@Robbo93 sorry your OPK's aren't as straightforward as they should be. You could maybe do with some Letrozole tablets, I would keep pestering your gp. Do you have any more appointments? Xx

Laur89 · 01/03/2020 20:19

@Robbo93 have you ever looked into taking myo inositol? I took it and got pregnant with my DS and again for this time around. It just regulates periods and made me ovulate!

Have any of you ladies tried the SMEP? I think I unknowingly did this time around and ended in my BFP 😆😆😆 keeping my fingers crossed for all you girls, I feel like I'm still on all your journeys to get your bfps! ☺️

@Laur89 I've just been reading up on that.. I think I kind of do that now without realizing.. the only thing that I can think I'm not doing is DTD in the few days after ovulation..
This cycle I DTD every other day from when AF finished, then I had a flashing smiley for 2 days (DTD once each day) then a positive opk (DTD that day) then DTD the day after also on my predicted ovulation day so 4 days in a row..
but that's it.. I don't DTD after that ovulation day (2 days after positive opk) because I always think what's the point.. you are supposed to ovulate the day after the opk aren't you..
But surely after DTD for 4 days in a row there should be enough swimmers lurking about anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️
Xx

Robbo93 · 01/03/2020 20:40

@Gems7 you're in the right place to be down, and it deffo will happen for you!! I'm a strong believer in everything happens for a reason and your next baba will surprise you when you need it the most!! ☺️☺️

As for me .. well who knows 😂😂
I'm just hoping I at least have a regular cycle this month because I can't be doing with waiting til 88 days again!! I've got a follow up appt with gynae in April so I can at least go with my bbt results and OPK tests and see what they say. They've taken bloods in dec/jan just haven't had the results yet 🤣 DH is at drs tomorrow morn to get the ball rolling for his check x

Gems7 · 01/03/2020 21:18

@Robbo93 Thank-you 😘 I really hope your cycles calm down and things become easier for you. Xxx

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 08:33

@Gems7 yeah, it's hard when you are doing everything you can and still nothing, trust me I hear you. I think that most of all it's just really frustrating because we think "we got pregnant at a time that wasn't good so easily" you know and now we want it badly and it's taking longer. But at those ages, 19 and 24 you're super duper fertile! I remember getting loads of ewcm lol and now I just about have some!

I dunno, it's mad, I'm the healthiest I've ever been lol so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ when the time is right I guess. I really hope I stay thinking like this! 😂9dpo today and definitely don't feel pregnant sooooo🧘‍♂️.

I just wanna hear my OH results and then get the ball rolling on dye test etc to look at my tubes! Plus we are in the middle of buying our home 🤞 so there's lots of good things to think about! Xx

@Laur89 I don't do SMEP me and OH find it hard to have a lot of sex I can't lie plus he takes foooorever to finish 😩😪😭 maybe I should try it but from my temps I know exactly where I ovulate and we dtd 2 days before 1 day before day of and day after temp rise! I want to actually try and have less sex and see if that helps the sperm x

Anny27 · 02/03/2020 08:43

Thanks for the love girls @Robbo93 @Gems7 @Missgoldilocks @Laur89

I guess my period might be a bit later than normal (14dpo and no sign yet) so we will see - will let you know when she arrives 😬

Yep agreed @robbo93 you might just need something to help you ovulate like clomid or the likes

@missgoldilocks let us know the results 🤞🤞

@Gems7 its such an all encompassing journey isnt it 😭😭 I keep thinking, we started trying in June and if we had been successful first time I would have a baby next month ish

Gems7 · 02/03/2020 13:19

@Anny27 I think we have all been trying a while
on here haven't we, it's nice we all understand how each other feels 😊
@Missgoldilocks I'm 7-8DPO and I don't feel pregnant either! 😂

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 16:15

Hey girls, do you know about levels of progesterone? @Gems7??ines come back as 27 and online I'm getting different results like it should be over 30 or as long as its above 16 its okay 🤷‍♀️ so I'm confused

Gems7 · 02/03/2020 16:28

@Missgoldilocks I had 21 day bloods twice last year (oct/nov) both times it showed low progesterone but my GP wasn't bothered about the levels at all..
The first time it was 28 and the second time it was 25.. she literally said "your progesterones slightly low but it's fine" and that was it!!
I wasn't tracking ovulation back then though just guessing and have always wondered if it was actually day 21 when I was having the blood taken or maybe slightly sooner..
I researched online quite a bit and I found that they like it to be 30 or above but so many women on forums etc had healthy pregnancies with levels under 20..
Xx

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 16:51

@Gems7 thank you! Well that's okay then lol xx

Gems7 · 02/03/2020 18:42

@Missgoldilocks when I phoned the surgery in November after I got the second progesterone result of 25 I couldn't speak to my GP about it because the receptionist told me I had to make make an apt when my OH had seen his GP and had his sperm sample done (of course then his GP told him to phone back when we had been TTC for 12 months which I think is ridiculous given my OH is just over 40 and I'm 36 😤)
So I never actually spoke to anyone about the second low result in a row..
I'm interested to know what your GP says about it..
I know you can have daily progesterone pessaries so it's something that does have a solution, but I'm not sure if you can be prescribed them before you are actually pregnant or only after your BFP..
My OH is calling his GP back next week so hopefully they will start doing some tests.
Your progesterone levels can be different every month also that's why they usually do the 21 day bloods two cycles in a row..
have you made an apt to discuss the result? Xxx

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 19:24

@Gems7 that's so bad!!! If you're over 35 isn't it 6 months! Besides my doctor said 8 months is the average it takes a couple (not even 12)
Yeah I'm talking to her on the phone on Wednesday I will let you know what she says about the result. Definitely definitely get your oh to get his sperm checked no messing about because its just like time wasted. I'm getting oh results maybe end of this week or next week xx

Gems7 · 02/03/2020 19:35

@Missgoldilocks Thanks huni, I will definitely get pestering them now! I'm really interested to see what yours says, your GP sounds so much more helpful than mine. I don't think you need to worry though, 27 is only just under, I have read pregnancy success stories people with results of 15 and even 10 xx

Missgoldilocks · 02/03/2020 19:52

@Gems7 thanks xx I'll definitely let you know once I've spoken to her. Tbh I wasn't really worried about my bloods since I've been pregnant a few times I'm more concerned about the sperm and my tubes. I can't help but hope everything is okay obviously but then also I've spoken to ladies who have been thoroughly checked with no issues and partner has no issues but have been trying for 3 years and no luck?? So I'm kind of like wow I'd rather there be a reason that can be fixed! Xx

Gems7 · 02/03/2020 20:18

@Missgoldilocks oh god yeah can you imagine. Knowing everything is absolutely fine but it still doesn't happen 😫 Emotional torture! Xxx

Robbo93 · 02/03/2020 21:10

My DH went doctors today to see about sperm analysis. They're sending him the test kit in the post with instructions on how to deliver it back to the hospital etc .. I hope it comes in discreet packaging 😂😂

Gems7 · 02/03/2020 21:45

@Robbo93 🤣🤣🤣 fingers crossed the packaging isn't decorated with a diagram of a penis and a pot! LOL xx

Anny27 · 02/03/2020 22:12

Dont know anything about progesterone levels sorry @Missgoldilocks but by the sound of what @Gems7 said it sounds good!

@robbo93 haha! Yes let's hope its discreet 🙈🙈

14dpo and had a bit of brown spotting so think AFs coming!

Missgoldilocks · 03/03/2020 08:17

@anny27 did af turn up?

I'm 10dpo today and like 100 percent sure I'm not pregnant 😓🙄🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ for god sake.

Missgoldilocks · 03/03/2020 12:04

@Gems7 so another doctor someone went to that I'm talking to on here said progesterone levels should be above 30. I'm talking to my doc tomorrow anyway... Xxx

Anny27 · 03/03/2020 12:05

@missgoldilocks AF not here yet btw 15dpo and brown spotting so imagine it's on the way!

Ahh hopefully the doctor can prescribe progesterone supplements or similar

Missgoldilocks · 03/03/2020 12:08

@anny27 maybe... Let's see what my doc says. Maybe it's not too low 🤷‍♀️ I mean it might not be low enough for her to prescribe something I dunno.

Ahhh sorry to hear that 🤗🤗🤗

Anny27 · 03/03/2020 12:18

Fingers crossed! How old are you btw? @missgoldilocks I cant remember haha! I am 28
