AF has arrived for me! At long last! CD36!!
I think the b6 vitamin has deffo helped with lengthening my lutuel phase, I'm gonna order some clearblue OPKs off Amazon & see how this next month goes xx

Anny27 · 23/11/2019 12:01

Ahh @Robbo93 atleast you know whetr you are at now :)

Have you been using cheapy opks? I find them easy so i havent gone for the clearblue ones yet

Robbo93 · 23/11/2019 14:32

@Anny27 I have previously but I can never seem to get a positive on them. When I used clearblue previously I got the smiley face so I knew it was def a positive.
I've ordered the advanced ones this time tho, so it will have flashing and static smiley and then I can see if these b6 vitamins really are helping my LP!
I was taking 100mg of b6 this month, but I think I'm going to cut back to 50mg x

FingersCrossedXXX · 24/11/2019 10:59

@Robbo93 Sorry to hear about AF but glad your vitamins seem to be helping!

Has everyone had a good weekend?

FINALLY got my a positive on my OPK this morning. May have also had a positive late yesterday afternoon but I forgot to go back and check in the time limit and about 20 mins later was dark.

Ellsbells112 · 25/11/2019 14:36

Hey guys how is everyone?
Been quiet, I'm just waiting to be fertile again! Dtd last night for fun haha and I'll start ovulation tests tomorrow or Wednesday should be ovulating over the weekend I'm cd8 today.

@FingersCrossedXXX whoop for your positive! That's great news hope you've been busy!

FingersCrossedXXX · 25/11/2019 15:22

@Ellsbells112 Finally. I'm not confident this month though as only got to DTD yesterday and will try again this evening. I know it only takes 1 but still. Pretty certain I ovulated last night as had cramps and back ache!

So much waiting!!

Laur89 · 25/11/2019 17:17

Hey @Ellsbells112 af has just arrived, I thought I was due on last week so I think I had a longer cycle! 🤷‍♀️ now just have to wait for fertile week again 😆 when do you go away?

Hi gals! Sorry, haven't had a chance to catch up on your messages so far (there's a lot of them) I am 0.5DPO 🙈 cycle 1 of TTC. AF is due 7th Dec so would be nice to have company until then! Tell me about yourselves please!

FingersCrossedXXX · 25/11/2019 19:06

@Lizziedu49 Hey! I'm due on the 8th so on a similar cycle to you. Also on cycle 1 and trying for our first.

Will this be your first?

We can symptom spot together and drive ourselves insane.

Lizziedu49 · 25/11/2019 19:10

@FingersCrossedXXX this would be my first, it's so exciting but so scary!

FingersCrossedXXX · 25/11/2019 19:57

@Lizziedu49 Same. It's so hard not to get your hopes up and hope it will happen in the first month!

Gillsg141290 · 25/11/2019 20:02

Hello Ladies,

I hope you don't mind me joining.

I am new to mums net and I am also on a similar cycle to some of you. This is month 2 of TTC after last month getting back to normal after coming off of pill. I am due AF 9th December (2 days after my xmas party....) I am pretty sure ovulation is today so heres hoping.

Ellsbells112 · 25/11/2019 20:02

@fingerscrossedXXX I know what you mean but like you said it just takes one! Fingers crossed for you x

@Laur89 Ahhh sorry to hear that hun, on to the next cycle ay 🙄 I'm going away on the 11th! So I hope it won't interfere with implantation! X

@Lizziedu49 hey hey I'm cd8 trying ijg for number 2 cycle 4 now!! Haha, good luck just don't get your hopes up I did it the first 2 months now I try not to obsess (still do XD)

FingersCrossedXXX · 25/11/2019 21:15

@Gillsg141290 Welcome! We'll be testing at the same time (though I'll also probably test about 20 times before then!).

I have my Christmas party this Friday.

Gillsg141290 · 25/11/2019 21:49

@fingerscrssedXXX I’m the same! I feel like I have ovulated today and I want to test right away by obvs nothing is going to come of that. This is my second and I would say I am worse this time than I was the first.

I think I may test the day before my Xmas party as that will be 3/4 days before AF then I will know if I can have a good drink or not.

Lizziedu49 · 26/11/2019 11:16

@Gillsg141290 @FingersCrossedXXX my Christmas party is this Sat. Will you drink?
I quickly googled it and apparently drinking can affect implantation. I was thinking I would maybe only have 2 or 3? I'm not usually a big drinker anyway so it wouldn't be unusual for me to only have that much. Am I looking into this too much????

Lizziedu49 · 26/11/2019 11:20

@Ellsbells112 I'm also away soon. Going on holiday for a week from the 9th. I will know by then whether it has worked this month. So i will take it as an opportunity to either have loads of cocktails all week if it hasn't worked or to just chill and enjoy the time away together with a bun in the oven! I see it as win win either way ☺️

Gillsg141290 · 26/11/2019 11:29

@Lizziedu49 I will definitely be testing on the 6th of December the day before the Xmas party and then again on the 7th to make sure.

I so didn’t know this regarding drinking and implantation. I also am not a big drinker at all but the way my cycle is I may be too early to test before period Is due.

Laur89 · 26/11/2019 12:20

Ahh @Ellsbells112 exciting! Sure it won't interfere :) is there any word from @Gigi318?

FingersCrossedXXX · 26/11/2019 13:55

@Gillsg141290 @lizziedu49 I was also worried about drinking at the party and posted a comment a few days ago about it. I have decided that I am going to have a good time and have a few drinks, won't go mental but won't spend the whole night sipping on one drink. It'd be so obvious if I didn't drink and I wouldn't want my colleague thinking I'm pregnant, especially if I'm not!

I'll only be 4dpo so it'll be too early to test. If I was a few days later, I'd take the test beforehand to see but some women don't even have a positive until after a missed period.

Gillsg141290 · 26/11/2019 14:03

@fingerscrossedXXX I totally agree. No point in stopping everything. The last time I was pregnant I was on a night out and I went home every not because I was pregnant as I didn’t know but because I just didn’t feel great so I think your body will tel you.

Hope you all have a great Christmas party’s.

Why does another 14 days seem like forever when your TTC!

Gillsg141290 · 26/11/2019 14:04

Early*

FingersCrossedXXX · 26/11/2019 14:11

@gillsg141290 Exactly, I don't want to spend 2 weeks every month feeling miserable because I can't relax and enjoy myself, especially as we don't know how long it will take to conceive!

I have work the following day anyway so at least I have a reason to take it easier.

I know, I at least want to get to the point where i can maybe start symptom spotting but too early for even that at the moment.

Ellsbells112 · 26/11/2019 15:02

@Laur89 not a word @Gigi318 where art thou lol she thought screw this mums net stuff it's sending me loopy looo haha

@Lizziedu49 Ohh that's good, I don't think I will know by then but just a few days after I think :)

Lizziedu49 · 26/11/2019 15:13

Oh wow @FingersCrossedXXX I see what you mean by we can symptom spot together. I didn't realise we are exactly same DPO 😂
DH came to see me at lunch and I chatted with him about it, he agreed that I should just do my normal thing at the Xmas party as I never have more than 3 or 4 drinks anyway. Like you say, there's more chance that we're not pregnant so no point in wasting a good evening and all that money spent. Ours is my charities 50th anniversary ball so it will never happen again.
