No period or BFP after mid-cycle bleed *confused*

Hey guys. I'm currently on CD 41, my regular cycle is anywhere between 27-31 days.

This cycle I had some mid-cycle bleeding from CD 12 - 16. It was very light but lasted longer than my normal period.

According to BBT & OPKs I am now 17 DPO. I am having symptoms that Aunt Flo is on her way (cramping, sore breasts & nipples, crying at everything 😂) but no AF & also no BFP.

Has anyone had something similar before? I should mention I had an early miscarriage back in August, could this be affecting my cycle still?

I just want AF to show up so I can continue ttc

Hi @Bananaloaf88 I was just wondering what the outcome was for you? I’ve had exactly the same thing this month and also had a miscarriage a few months ago? x

@Bk356 Hey. It isn't a good story & obviously you are in a totally different boat. I had some mid-cycle bleeding and eventually on CD 50-something I had a BFP.

I found out I was only about 4 weeks pregnant when I got my BFP. Unfortunately it turned out to be ectopic. I don't think the mid-cycle bleeding had anything to do with it however.

But as I had to have surgery in Nov to remove the ectopic I have only had one true period since & can't really give you an answer on whether or not it stopped etc...

Not the most helpful answer.

@Bananaloaf88 I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through that and I really hope you’re doing okay. I don’t think I had any idea just how unfair TTC could be. Thank you for replying though. x

@Bk356 If it is any help my mum is a Nurse practitioner and she said that often after miscarriage your body can "reset" in the same way as it would after a full-term pregnancy. A few of my friends who have had children have told me it took a good few months for their body to be 100% normal. It is frustrating as after you have an early miscarriage you often want to start ttc again soon.

Thank you :) my cycle has been all over the place since really so I don’t want to talk myself into being pregnant again as I’m most likely not.
Good luck going forward @bananaloaf88 x
