Hey ladies! Couldn't find a November bus so thought I would create one! Who's hopping on? Please introduce yourself. I will start...

OV due 2nd nov
Af due 17th nov

Fredthespider · 30/10/2019 13:48

Late ovulation isn't unusual for me unfortunately, I was just hopeful that this month was different :)

stepmumma91 · 31/10/2019 08:46

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join?
TTC #1 (one 9 y/o stepdaughter from his previous relationship)
Cycle 1
CD 13
OV due 2/11
AF around 16/11

I got my first peak reading this morning using the CB advanced fertility monitor. Already panicking that I may have missed our window! Slightly concerned because I had to test twice yesterday - first test didn't 'errored', had to squeeze another wee out before I went to work as the monitor only lets me test within a certain window!! Hoping it was accurate and not missed a peak day yesterday otherwise may have missed out this month!

Have been getting high readings since Sunday so have been DTD each day but DH was ill yesterday so nothing yesterday, hoping he feels better later!

Is anyone else feeling super overwhelmed?! Feels like such a huge this is happening but you can't talk to anyone about it! (Except you ladies obvs! Smile)

ceejla · 31/10/2019 08:54

hi @stepmumma91!

Have you been BD'ing every other day or so around your fertile window? I don't think you need to worry about doing it bang on OV day, as long as you get a few tries in before they can be there waiting ready!

I thought I may have OV early at the weekend but in actual fact, don't think it happened until yesterday/today (although not charting anything). So I will be hoping NOT to expect AF same time as you!

Question to everyone on here, especially those TTC #1 - is anyone so so excited for a baby but at the same time dreading how their partner will react when it actually happens?

stepmumma91 · 31/10/2019 09:04

Hi @ceejla!

We have BD'd every day since I first got a high reading (CD9), just not yesterday. Hoping DH feels better later so that we cover bases for the next couple of days!

Fingers crossed for you!!

Not so much worried about DH's reaction. He already has a daughter so I think he knows what he's signing up for! Has your DH been reasonably chilled up til now?

Fsid00 · 31/10/2019 10:27

Hi,

I'll join rather than lurk for a change!

TTC #3
Cycle 5
OV due 7th Nov
AF due 16th Nov

MC April 2019

First time using CB OPK's this time. After the last few months of cheapies. Found out I'm ovulating later than I originally thought and have a short luteal phase of between 9 & 11 days.

Good luck everyone Thanks

Lolly271 · 31/10/2019 16:02

Hi guys, jumping on board!
TTC #1
1st cycle
Currently 1 dpo
AF due 14th November
This tww is torture
Good luck to everyone x

ceejla · 31/10/2019 16:08

@stepmumma91 relatively chilled yes haha. We've talked about having kids for YEARS and he is honestly the best with children and he can't wait to have a family. But he is also one of those that would also sh*t themselves when it actually happens (as most people I do I imagine)! Doesn't help when he has noooo idea about the whole ovulation thing and I think he would be pretty shocked if I fell within 6 weeks.

Those little devils can hang around for 3-5 days so you hopefully you are covered for this month.

stepmumma91 · 31/10/2019 18:10

@ceejla I think most men are exactly the same! Mine doesn't have a clue about all of this ovulation stuff either. Hopefully will be a happy surprise for them both! I don't think it really becomes real for them til the baby arrives anyway!

Frozeneverafter · 31/10/2019 18:40

TTC: No. 1
Age: 28 DH: 33
Cycle: 9
Cycle 7: High testosterone
Cycle 8: normal?
I have depression and think stress levels aren't helping but I've tried everything. Wanted a month off from TTC as didn't think the timing would be right for this month. Hope everyone is doing well and baby dust to all! I'm generally feeling a bit meh.

I hit 9 days of flashing smiles yesterday morning, but as I tend to ovulate late in the cycle I was expecting to get the solid smile yesterday, tested in the afternoon and there it was! So should be ovulating around now. Based on previous cycles I've got a short luteal phase so I'll start spotting on the 11th with AF due on the 12th, fingers crossed for something different this month.

Lolly271 · 02/11/2019 10:04

@clolo I feel really weird this month, constant nausea and weird feeling in my tummy (kinda like gassy feeling which is not normal for me, don't really ever have any symptoms of anything apart from cramping/backache the day before AF)! I'm only 3 dpo and have had this for the past 2 days. I'm trying to not get my hopes up as it's all probably physcholigical as it's only cycle 1 😂 I have been tracking my cycles for about 2 years now though and these symptoms are completely out of whack for me!

How's everyone else?

Yellow1c · 02/11/2019 12:17

I'm 2dpo and absolutely nothing. Then again, I didn't really expect there to be... apart from extreme impatience - that's got to be a symptom, right? Wink I'm only cycle 1 but can already tell this experience is going to be one I obsess over!

So, my husband was absolutely knackered on the day I ovulated. He was great all the other times but - bless him - was so so tired that we didn't try that day. But we tried the two days before so I'm hoping that'll be enough...! Fingers crossed.

CooperLooper · 02/11/2019 12:49

Hey I'd like to join please.

Age 28
TTC #1
Cycle 1
DPO 0 (got my LH surge today)

I've had the implant in for 5-6 yrs had had it out on 5th Oct, never had any periods whilst on it. I had a week of flashing smiley faces on the CB digital about 2-3 weeks ago but never hit a peak or a surge on the cheap dip tests.

Finally got my LH surge today 🥳 I've had sore boobs, cramps on the left side and good grief my sex drive has gone through the roof (sorry)

So I guess tomorrow I count it as a 1DPO is that right??

Nice to meet you all! X

GeminiCancer · 02/11/2019 13:10

Hi jumping from October bus to November bus.
TTC #2
Cycle 4
AF Due 1st December
Ovulate around the 16th.

Thought I'd have conceived by now as OH and I have been DTD constantly even outside of ovulation window.
Fingers and toes crossed for everyone. X

Louu99 · 02/11/2019 13:15

Hi everyone!

Can I join in here?

TTC #1
I ovulated on 31st October
AF is due 17th November

This is only my first cycle but I'm trying to remain optimistic and not symptom spot every pain or niggle Grin x

Overthinker1988 · 02/11/2019 14:08

Hi everyone! Will be going back to TTC (cycle 3) after an early miscarriage in week 5. Hoping it happens quickly again. Wishing you all luck!

Louu99 · 02/11/2019 14:13

Good luck @Overthinker1988 ! Smile

What does everyone think about the "wait and see" to test method, instead of analysing very symptom, like I already do? Grin

Overthinker1988 · 02/11/2019 14:17

@Louu99 Thanks :) And nooo, do not over-analyse. I made that mistake already and it makes time go at snail's pace. I try to line up as many pleasant activities as possible to take my mind off it.
Personally I would test on the day AF is due though, because if I end up having repeat chemical pregnancies/early miscarriages I'd want to know rather than thinking it's just AF. Then I can go to docs to see if there's an issue.

Louu99 · 02/11/2019 14:21

@Overthinker1988 I do try, sometimes it's so difficult not to, especially when you really want it to happen!

I am going to be busy for the next couple of weeks so that should help. Another good thing is not having any tests in the house haha
The wait until the 17th begins!

Overthinker1988 · 02/11/2019 14:24

@Louu99 I know, you can never switch off completely. I found it helpful to book a treat-type thing for the day AF is due (like a massage or a manicure) so it takes the sting off a bit if AF does come.

Louu99 · 02/11/2019 14:26

@Overthinker1988 yes! A treat always makes bad days better, especially if it's a massage! Not that I need an excuse 😂

Overthinker1988 · 02/11/2019 14:34

Hehe yes, and then you're looking forward to that thing instead of AF. Keeping fingers crossed for you on the 17th!

Ginblooded · 02/11/2019 21:41

I’m definitely going to try and make myself busy, it’s so easy to obsess!

I am so confused about ovulation 😂
I have two tracker apps on my phone so I have an least an idea... one predicted I’d ov on the 1st nov and the other the 3rd. I Think I ov on the 1st as I had some crampy feelings on Thursday night and today I’ve had sore boobs. I’ve read that’s a sign you’ve just ovulated? I didn’t notice any ewcm though, but it was watery and slippery wed-fri 🤔

We dtd Tuesday, Thursday morning and Friday night 🤞🤞

So I may now be in the tww! May have to dtd throughout next week too, just to be sure though 😂

Monstamio · 03/11/2019 07:42

Can I join please?

Age 39
TTC #3
Cycle 1
Testing around 17th Nov if I can hold out that long, but I'm stocking up on internet cheapies!

I had 3 miscarriages on the journey to my two lovely children, so I'm expecting a bit of a rocky road, especially as I'm now even more geriatric!

Good luck everyone!
