Pregnant or possible evaporation line...

Hi guys!

This morning I took a pregnancy test and I think I may have accidentally peed a small amount on to the window...
However I got what appears to be a positive line which is definitely pink. The pink line is still visable now, 3.5 hours later, but subsequent tests have come back negative.

The test was an Asda brand test...

Is it possible that urine on the window can lead to a positive result? Or do you have to have HCG in your urine for that line to even turn pink?!

How dark was the line? How many DPO are you? The line only comes up when HCG is present so fingers crossed... don’t worry too much about the tests later today having been negative, you need to test with FMU when HCG levels are still low.

I don’t use Asda tests so can’t say whether they’re bad for evaps but evaps aren’t usually pink. I’m afraid you’ll have to test again in the morning to be sure but it does sound promising!

I am afraid lots of people on here have had bad experiences with Asda tests showing false positives 😥 hopefully though it's just early days and you will get a Bfp on other tests soon.
Also I always just wee in a pot and dip the stick in, no chance of getting it wrong then 😉

I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, was using clearblue ovulation tests but only saw the flashing face for about 7 days between 3rd-10th so assumed i missed the LH surge or i didnt ovulate, but was expecting to be able to take an early test from tuesday onwards and expecting AF next tuesday but I have just come off the pill so not really sure of my cycle length.

The line was the same colour as the test, but a thinner line and now it remains a thin slightly paler pink line.

I have bought a clearblue double check tests which I will be patient and wait until tomorrow morning!
