Does a man making less cum mean conception will be harder?

I'm not yet trying to conceive but ultimately want to have children and have just met someone I really like.

The sex is great but I've noticed he doesn't produce a lot of cum compared to other guys I've been with. This might be a really stupid question as I've never studied biology but does this mean our chances of having children were we to try at some point down the line be lower?

No. Quality over quantity, and half a teaspoon of ejaculate contains millions of sperm.

Not all of the fluid produced is sperm anyway. They might have had a lot of fluid, but your current partner might produce more sperm per ejaculation. There's nothing to say it will be harder, but if you're struggling, a sperm count test is a good idea.

Thank you - that's reassuring but counter-intuitive!
