8 days late..BFN..pcos..any hope?

Hi all,

I'm currently 8 days late. I do have pcos which means sometimes my cycles are irregular but since having my second child almost 6 years ago I have been pretty regular. I have been feeling stressed lately so a huge part of me thinks it will be this but is there any hope at this stage? I have no signs of period really. I normally get breast pain and swelling before AF but nothing this time. Had twinges like period pain over last week but nothing. No other signs of anything. Taking another test today and still BFN..we are actively trying to conceive number 3

No real advice but in the same boat. 4 days late, 2 x neg tests, no sign of af. Had 6 months or regularish cycles so a bit miffed by this one.

9 days late today. Probably shouldn't have tested again so soon but did and still negative. I'm really just assuming I'm not especially because I have pcos but it's that thing of you still feel unsure until AF arrives. Hope you get an answer soon

I’m 12 days late on cycle day 41. No signs of AF. Very odd as it’s never been this late. I have PCOS too with blocked left fallopian aswell so very hard to get pregnant. I started testing with IPKs and they peaked again. Could it be that we’re ovulating late? My periods are very irregular but never this bad.

@ChicaXS have you done a test yet? Still no signs of AF.. getting fed up now. I hate my body. Having pcos is even worse because if I had a normal hormone balance and I was late then I would either expect a positive at some point or I could talk to the dr but at this stage who knows why this is happening and if I go to the doctor it's like 'you know you have pcos so come back if you don't have af in x amount of months and we can start you on provera' or something along those lines. Stress..which doesn't help at all

@Jj2431 I wouldn’t stress, the body is an amazing thing. Just ignore the fact your period hasn’t come and enjoy your time with your partner. I know it’s hard but stress just adds more negative impact to the situation and with PCOS it’s out of our hands. I am trying inofolic when my next period comes. It’s expensive but many customers swear by it. I am going for ivf anyway next year so I’m less stressed out but the random periods are more annoying then anything.

I tested everyday - negative lol. I am going to test again on Friday but I know it’s negative.... yeah- the joys of PCOS.....
