So confused... could I be pregnant?

I'm now on day 31 of my cycle, 3/4 days after when AF usually shows up. I have done multiple tests, mainly cheap ones and a couple of FRER and they have all come back negative. I've had various different symptoms for over a week now, nausea, backache and tiredness being the main ones.
What the heck is happening? Could I be pregnant? If so why isn't it showing up yet?

I’m in the same position at the moment 😔 it’s driving me up the wall. I just want to know either way.

I had a positive OPK with BBT dip and if that wasn’t confirmation then I also had blood tests this month that confirmed ovulation. My cycles can sometimes vary but my luteal phase is always 14 days!!!

Sorry I should say there are loads of people on here that have not got a positive until day 12,13,17 even but I’m not convinced I’m one of those people - maybe you will be OP.

@poptypingchef it is so frustrating isn't it? I've got a FRER to do in the morning but is so disheartening when all test say about being really accurate the day of a missed period, makes me feel like I'm kidding myself. Part of me want to believe I am pregnant because why else would I have symptoms and a late period and the rest of me is saying that I can't be pregnant otherwise I'd be getting a different result. It's so going to be so hard if AF shows because me and my fiancé both had really strong gut feelings that this would be the month. My fiancé is still convinced I'm pregnant

Do you temp? If so and your temp is still high and hasn’t tapered off it could be a good sign

@Emae26 I'm in the exact same position. I have every single symptom but 2 negative tests now. You know when you want something so bad it just feels like someone's playing a cruel joke. I'm going to test again in the morning and then I guess I'm definitely out as my period would be 6 days late at that point so surely would show by now. Hope you get a positive result this month! Xx

@poptypingchef no I don't... really wish I did so I have a better understanding of what's happening...
@pugmama7 it really does feel like a cruel joke... I've never felt the way I have recently, I've never felt so pregnant in all my life. I feel exactly the same, like if im going to get a positive then I should have got it by now. Restore my faith a bit hearing that some people have waited longer after AF being due and ended up with a BFP. If you want to post your test to have some more opinions please do, I probably will do the same.

@Emae26 thanks lovely I think it will if there's any chance there's even a squinty line. How long have you been ttc? We've been trying for 18months and I've almost given up. We have a docs appointment in a couple of weeks to see if they can start doing some tests to see if everything's ok. It's just so frustrating especially when everyone always asks when we're going to have a baby, I guess people don't realise what's going on behind doors. Xx

@pugmama7 it's quit early days for us, we had a few months of 'let's see what happens' after stopping contraception and then the last 3 months we've been using the tracking I've been doing for a while to try and DTD around ovulation but next month I'm going to start using OPK. I really hope this is your month and if not I hope the doctors appointment and tests go well. You'll get your bundle of joy at some point soon. My future mother in law is always mentioning about 'when the grandchildren are born' or 'when you have kids' and she always suspects that I'm pregnant if I have any slight ailment and it brakes my heart when I have to say I'm not. Must be even harder after waiting and trying longer, guess we've all got to focus on the fact that one way or another we'll all get to tell everyone at some point that we're starting families

Morning guys, I don't know if I'm making it up but I'm sure there's a really faint line on here. Please can you let me know what you think? It's there no matter what angle I look at and I've inverted the image and there is a really faint line there but I still don't know? Xx

@December2019 thank you I'm glad it's not just me having line eyes. I'm going to get a different brand today to test tomorrow as I only had ICs with me. I tried to upload from my phone but it wanted me to take a new one which is why I think it's blurry. Xx

@Emae26 I wouldn't give up until AF comes. I'm literally on cd33 5 days late with no AF and got that tiny faint thing that might or might not be something, don't give up hope xxx

Can I jump in ladies? I'm only 1 day overdue AF and had a BFN this morning but have been so sure this month. I've really felt different and had a strong gut feeling. I don't want to get too hung up on maybe I still am but I want it so badly. Had horrid heartburn, nausea, constipation (TMI sorry) and string vivid dreams for around 6 days now.

So sorry for you guys who are even more days along than me, must be awful and I hope you all do get your BFPs

Mind games.
My body is playing some serious mind tricks on me. Came off injection since June and no AF since January. So I know my mind is just playing some games on me. Pregnancy is the last thing on my mind.

@Emae26 sometimes you just have an intuition and you've got to follow it! If something doesn't feel right it could be that you're pregnant but just one of those people that don't show up till a bit later. I've got the worst symptoms today ever - cramps, backache, nausea and my boobs are so swollen and painful, but I'm still worried AF might turn up. Keep me posted - are you going to do another test in the morning? Xx

@pugmama7 yeah true. I will do, I'm not going to test anymore now, if no AF by this time next week I'm going to go to the doctors

@Emae26 fingers crossed for you. I've been reading up and finding loads of people that just don't show up in tests till quite a bit later. I'm hoping we're one of them! I'm obvs going to test again in the morning coz I just can't help myself

@pugmama7 I've seen similar thing too, I'm hoping we are too. I'm going to wait a week, test and then go to the doctors either way

Good morning guys! Up with the larks today. I took a clear blue early detection and still there just seems to be what looks like a shadow in the frame. I don't know if the camera is picking it up but I just don't know where I stand. I feel so different cramping on one side, lots of watery cm, swollen and tender bbs, nausea, backache etc but still no definitive positive test. It's so frustrating. And now af is 6 days late! Surely a positive would have shown up properly by now?!

@pugmama7 try to see if you can get a blood test. Sometimes it takes ages to show up on test, however sometimes the cheaper show up quicker than the expensive pregnancy test.
