Crazy vivid dreams - sign?

I've heard that vivid and weird dreams, as well as improved dream recall can be an early sign of pregnancy but also seems to be thought of as a myth.

I'm 13 dpo and AF due today/tomorrow but as been trying for a while I dont want to test until AF is actually late.

Anyone ended up being pregnant after getting crazy ass dreams in the run up to AF due date?

Yes it was my first sign on both pregnancies. I still remember both of the dreams where I woke up and thought - that was absolutely bloody bizarre and scary. So I went and did a test😂

@JellyBean100 amazing! Yes I just keep waking up thinking WTAF haha. It's been happening for around 5-6 nights now.

No other real signs to speak of except weighty boobs, but that always seems to happen before AF so I try not to overthink it!

Always my first signs! As soon as they start I say to DH I'm pregnant and I am!

We've been trying for a while now and I've become v. conscious of not getting overexcited at anything - these dreams have been the first thing so far that has really hit me as bizarre and out of the ordinary.

Anybody else have any insight on my mad dreams?

I had vivid crazy dreams 2 months ago. Was sure it was a sign and was very upset when AF appeared.

Yep about 10DPO I started having such vivid dreams about spiders (apparently that's a pregnancy thing too) that I was waking DP up and insisting they were in the bed (I'm not actually scared of spiders but DP hates them so the poor sod was too paranoid to go back to sleep 😂)

That's a weird one, I've not heard of the spider thing specifically. Sorry for how horrid that must have been for you! But glad it was all for a good reason

I had vivid dreams with both my dc.

And also with the 3 chemicals I’ve had.

Strangely last cycle (Which was a chemical) I dreamt my dad fell down the gap by his house and hurt his shoulder/back (never dreamt about my dad or his house that I can remember before), woke up feeling like that was weird... 2 weeks later he fell down the gap in his house and hurt his back!

You possibly were subconsciously worried about him falling so it made it's way into your dream? Either that or you're psychic 🤣

My one last night was about a giant robot being smashing the house up and generally terrorising me and DP. Was NOT nice!

I had the craziest dream last night I had huge boobies full of milk and had to hide to express, did 3 tests this morning and all faint bfps 😂😲

I've been having weird dreams all week and remembering them when I wake up which I don't usually! Just got a bfp tonight so there may be some truth in it.

I remember having really vivid dreams, but I'd never heard of it as a sign so only retrospectively think of it as one.

I'm on pregnancy number four and vivid/weird dreams have happened every time even before a BFP!

@FatAndFurious7 rarely speak to my dad and he lives other side of the country so we have quite a disconnected relationship.

Strangely I told DH about the dream as it was so weird and almost shit myself when my brother called telling me about the fall. Just bruised ribs apparently though. Most bizarre!

Definitely seeing a trend haha!

I let myself get so hopeful this month. But AF overdue by 1 day and BFN this morning...

Still no AF so I suppose a tiny sliver of hope left!

FatAndFurious you're not out till AF arrives I was 5 days late BFN, had spotting for 5 days now and last 2 mornings had positives on eBay cheapies so there is always hope!...oxox

I'm not 'feeling' like I'm about to come on period - normally you can just sort of tell cant you, but seems to not be on the horizon. Having said that my heartburn and nausea seem to have disappeared today so losing hope of pregnancy signs too!
