I've never posted in this forum before but was just looking for some opinions please.
I'm 43 and have just recently completed an ivf cycle (own eggs, donor sperm). My clinic advised me to have a HCG blood test 3 days ago but I couldn't as it fell on a weekend. Instead I did a urine PT yesterday which was negative 🙁 I did another this morning which was also negative. I was quite surprised as I feel pregnant. A few days after the embryos were transferred I developed vibrating feelings in my pelvis which have never left. I am having them now as I type. I also have stretching/cramps in the same area too but no other symptoms of pregnancy apart from a metallic taste in my mouth for a few days last week.
My clinic (in Cyprus) said if I had 2 negative urine tests then it was game over. However the PT I did last night said to retest in 3 days if negative so I will retest again on Thursday.
Is all hope lost for me? I have continued to take my medication given to me by the clinic as I'm not convinced I'm not pregnant and am scared to stop it in case I am! Could these symptoms be a side effect of the hormonal oessaries and patches im taking (even though they aren't listed in the side effects)? Or is it possible I may be pregnant, even with a negative urine result.
Not sure what to think!
