Coincidence of tummy bug or should I be worried?

I would be 15dpo. Got a faint line on an frer on Friday (even though a dip on Ovusense but still above coverline) but then af came a day late on Sunday but seems to have already stopped. It seems like a normal af except length of time. Woke this morning with horrific nausea (worse than when I had morning sickness with ds) and diarrhoea. As the days gone on I just feel worse. Aching tummy with cramps, headache, raised HR. I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. Did a co-op acutest pregnancy test this morning and bfn although I think it’s less sensitive than frer.

Do I just assume it’s an odd af and I’ve simultaneously picked up a tummy bug, or should I be concerned it could be an ectopic. I work for the nhs so am very aware of not wasting the gp’s or 111’s time. Thanks in advance.

You could still be PG OP - maybe test again with another FRER in a couple of days?

I had some bleeding with early pregnancy with DD1 that was similar to the first day of AF but stopped. From what I've read an ectopic would come with a lot of pain difficult to ignore.

Thanks @LillianFullStop. So I rang the gp and they advised me to go to MIU. Who are now sending me to A&E. They think I have an infection but not really sure if it’s gynae or not.

That's good to hear @Chefwifelife - hope they see you quickly and you get some peace of mind Star

Hope all was ok and nothing serious @Chefwifelife

Apologies on the copy and paste. I just wanted to update the threads I had started.

I was told on Monday my Pregnancy blood test was negative (was 7), and they put it down to gastroenteritis.

Fast forward the rest of the week and I still wasn’t feeling quite right. Low cramps, heightened sense of smell, weird dreams. Poas yesterday evening and BFP! Gp was concerned due to pain, the bleed I had on Sunday and previous negative blood. Had bloods taken again and I’ve risen to 47. Just have to go back to EPU on Monday for a repeat blood.

What a rollercoaster!

Wow @Chefwifelife nothing is ever simple is it? Hopefully you are overall feeling better at least and you have some good and reassuring news at the EPU Brew
