Hi all,

I’ve not long signed up to this so I actually cannot upload a photo 😢

This would be our very first month of trying and I took a CB early detection test today and a line has appeared (not dark dark but you can see it straight away) I guess this means I’m pregnant (Af was due Saturday)

but before I get my hopes up - did anyone have any experience with faint lines and they got darker maybe with other tests? Also is it best to take a CB digital too?

Sorry soo many questions, it’s all very new to me.

Any advise is greatly welcoming!

Thank you xxx

Hey!
There should be a little paper clip below where you type to add a picture for future.
I know blue ink tests are more likely to give false positives but that doesn't mean yours is. I'd say go for a digital to confirm but if you're late with af it's a positive sign!
Good luck.

@ItAllStartedHere thank you for responding!

That’s what I don’t want (a false negative) but AF has not shown up, I’m having waves of sickness, I have acne (never get it I’ve always luckily been clear skinned) cramping the lot!

Just couldn’t believe it when that line appeared.

I tried to upload the phot but it keeps failing, I’ve seen on here that you need to be a member for at least a month?

I had a similar experience..

I used an embarrassing amount of the one step pregnancy tests as the faintest line kept appearing.

I then bought digital tests which said not pregnant.

I then used the first response and had a really faint line, the next day it was darker.

I think testing early means the HCG levels are too low for digital ones but I do believe a faint line must mean pregnant as they've detected some levels of HCG.

I'd recommend the first response and wait a few days and do again. Hopefully you'll see it getting darker and darker! Smile then if you're like me do a digital one just to see the words confirm it.

Fingers crossed for you!

Hey @Pascal3 sound like a good think if you can see a line. It should get darker if you keep testing as the days go by. I've attached my Thursday and Sunday test photos. If you can get a First Response Early Results test they have pink dye and are easier to see like @HopefulHun said.
With attaching photos I find I have to wait a while after I've clicked the paperclip before my pictures appear below for me to add. It's frustrating

Hi. Old thread but still giving this a shot as I have no photo to share. I used CB 6 day early test. I did not see any blue line however, the control area where the line is to appear, has a surge of blue appearing in a wierd angled pattern (the area is supposed to stay white if not pregnant)

I’m thinking of the test stick itself was not ok or the blue wierd pattern means it did detect something?
