Hi, just starting my 2 week wait and wondering who else is too and how you stop your mind from going crazy and not thinking of anything else... 😬😅😂

@Grainedesesame I got BFNs on cheapies at 8dpo and 9dpo so decided to give it a break and wasn't going to test again until closer to AF due date as I've fallen for these AF symptoms before soooo many times and been disappointed. 2 things that were different: 1. My groin area and upper thighs felt very warm (even DH commented and was asking if I was ovulating lol), and 2. BABY BRAIN. I'm not kidding baby brain was what convinced me when I was PG with DD1.

LillianFullStop · 23/09/2019 11:34

@Hayleylou89 BFNs at 8dpo and 9dpo - not a line in sight - so 2 days made a difference!!!

Definitely will do the FRER after lunch!

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 11:39

Ah ok a few days wont do me no harm to wait 🤞🏻 can i ask have u checked ur cervix after a bath/shower... sorry for TMI but when i feel mine its very moist and everything inside feels quite squishy 😂 iv been told it changes when pregnant but dnt really know what im comparing it against or if anyone else has tried this?

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 11:41

@LillianFullStop and dnt forget to send a pic :)

LillianFullStop · 23/09/2019 12:03

BFN on the FRER SadConfused

Will try again tomorrow with FMU... man this TTC business is a rollercoaster!!!

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 12:10

@LillianFullStop aww no .. whats FMU ? X

LillianFullStop · 23/09/2019 12:27

FMU = first morning urine - apparently more concentrated and easier to detect the PG hormone.

Sophiiee93 · 23/09/2019 12:44

I am currently now on my 2 week wait, think I ovulated Saturday/Sunday.
Feeling pretty sick. Anybody else feel anything?
Xx

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 13:03

@LillianFullStop yeah the morning will be better i could see a line on ur first one so fingers crossed for darker tomorrow

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 13:04

@Sophiiee93 iv ovulated around the same time last week iv not felt sick but had other symptoms like sore boobs, what loed like implantation bleed and headaches but not tested with early response yet as my cycles are quite long 35/38 days usually x

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 13:09

@Grainedesesame just noticed last month was a 32 day cycle but that the shortest on iv had in 9 months as it always 35 or 38, so if im the same this month them AF will actually be due sunday ... wish AF was spot on regular every month 🙄

Sophiiee93 · 23/09/2019 13:10

@Hayleylou89 I thought it was a little strange that I feel sick 1-2 dpo I have just eaten my dinner n now feel even more sick! I am tryin not to get my hopes up too much though as I have PCOS n this is my first cycle since November. Baby dust to u Smile xx

Raizelrea · 23/09/2019 13:10

Hi, can I join in as well? I'm only 1 DPO, AF is due 5th October but I ovulated later than expected so may be a couple days late. Will cheer you ladies on as you're further along! 😊

@Hollielouise I'm 1 DPO too! Feel like it will be a loong wait, last month I was lucky enough to go on holiday for the second week but not much to distract me this time around!

Raizelrea · 23/09/2019 13:15

@Sophiiee93 I'm feeling nauseous as well but I've just learnt that apparently it's normal around ovulation because your testosterone levels rise at that point in your cycle. Unfortunately a lot of the hormonal changes are just a part of the regular cycle, it's funny how much of them we ignore until we TTC isn't it?

Sophiiee93 · 23/09/2019 13:21

@Raizelrea yes very where normally u wouldn't pay attention or think anything xx

Hollielouise · 23/09/2019 13:22

@Raizelrea I'm 4 dpo now and getting very impatient! No symptoms apart from increased cm and tiredness but unlikely that is pregnancy related so early.
Wondering whether it's acceptable to take a test at 7dpo on Wednesday...? Or if it's just too soon? Hmm

Hayleylou89 · 23/09/2019 13:30

@Sophiiee93 everyone is different though, iv had pinky blood on wiping 5 DPO but some people wont of have that.. its just a horrible waiting game isnt it 😭 iv only just realised my cycle was shorter last month (32days) and iv always had either 35 or 38 day cycles so got knows when AF is due for me 😂 at earliest sunday and latest could be the following saturday god knows when to test 😒

LillianFullStop · 23/09/2019 13:35

Yes @Hayleylou89 I think i was too excited to retest on the FRER so soon after the cheapie. Could also be a false positive so going to wait another full day just to be sure... I was starting to get excited and thinking of ways to tell DH Blush

Sophiiee93 · 23/09/2019 13:39

@Hayleylou89 ye they ttw is horrible n it's only just started 🙁 I already just wanna know lol. Fingers crossed for u xx

Raizelrea · 23/09/2019 13:48

@Hollielouise I'd probably try to hold off till at least 9 DPO - supposedly the earliest implantation happens is 6 DPO and then it takes another 2 days or so for you HCG levels to be high enough for the test to pick it up. On the bright side if you're 4DPO you're already 1/3 of the way through!

Yogisunflower91 · 23/09/2019 13:56

Hi everyone
May I join?
I'm in my TWW AF due 28th September
I don't have any symptoms yet, noticed a few pains last night in my right side but nothing substantial that I could definitely put down to pregnancy (I think).
This is our first month TTC.
Wishing you all the best with your journeys

Grainedesesame · 23/09/2019 13:59

Welcome @Yogisunflower91 no long to wait for you. A few days will fly by before some good news I hope

Grainedesesame · 23/09/2019 14:02

Can I ask you when do you think is the best time for testing? I'm very regular with my period and always on 27 days cycle (occasionally 28) :) thanks

2 week wait...
Yogisunflower91 · 23/09/2019 14:05

@Grainedesesame thank you! Just a few more days to wait. It's taking my everything to wait until the weekend. I'm just telling myself I don't want to be disappointed by testing early

Grainedesesame · 23/09/2019 14:10

@Yogisunflower91 you probably have the right approach but it required lots of self discipline! I guess this is what make ttc so exciting so we might as well embrace it
