I remember SmellyMelly posting on a past thread on this subject - just wondering - how many days before Ovulation did you stop having sex when you conceived your girl?

Well I got Kate 2 test the Chinese thing when she was round once.
She has 3 girls & the chart said 2 girls & 1 boy.
The 3rd girl was supposed 2 be a boy, who she claims is her girliest of the lot.
Proves that that is pretty much a 50/50 thing.
She also seduced her dh on day of ovulation when she concieved Laura!
I bet we have crossed again. You have 2 remember that I'm a 1 finger typer!!

LOL at the chips - if i did the vinegar thing i probably wouldnt tell DH!!! Have just got my PJ's on and got DS's to bed. DH home in about an hour but dont think i have the energy to BD tonight! THe idea is to BD everynight to get his sperm count down (more chance of a girl) Prehaps i will get him to pull down my jarmie bottoms and tell me when it is over!!!

I was just thinking about how on earth u have the energy 2 have such activity's on a daily bases. I have trouble with once a month these days!
Surely if u do it 2 often, it lessons the chances of pregnancy, as the quality of sperm must be much less.
Saying that, ds2 was concieved on the 1 occasion that we did it 2 times in 1 night & I don't think my pill could cope with it!
Dh was convinced all would be fine, as the second lot was so poor! But obviously not!!!
This is not normal behaviour in our house btw!

Btw, where have u read such statistics?!

God knows how my Mum had 2 girls if true!!

Hi Tessiebear - You would have to tell dh about the vinegar, as he will wonder what the hell the smell is!!

In answer to your other questions, I did it straight before, no it doesn't hurt, and neither of us took any magnesium.

Thanks SmellyMelly - have decided against the vinegar douche as i am a bit prone to cistitis and dont fancy getting it! Have decided to BD until CD 11 and then stop - so fingers crossed (Oh may BD on the morning of CD12 as it is DH's birthday )
