I have noticed a higher sense of smell? I don't know if that's because with my other 2dc it was my worse symptom all the way to the end along side morning sickness so I don't know if I'm imagining it but twice yesterday to the point last night I had to hang my head out a window while the hubby cooked steak 🤢🤢🤢 and a stitch like feeling in my left side not a pain just dull xx

Just poas, big fat 'effin negative. What a surprise 😒. I hope its just because its too early, but I've already lost the optimism that I had yesterday and convinced myself I'm out again this month!

Have you girls dtd often, or just in fertile window? We literally haven't stopped, to the point where I was like. Okay, one of us is going to have a stroke or something serious. My partner has now closed the factory and is taking a break the poor sod.

There's just so many conflicting 'facts' online. Some say to dtd every other day to give the sperm a chance to reload, others say everyday as it helps keep fresh sperm flowing.

Losing my marbles.

Nuttypea · 23/08/2019 10:41

Big hugs @TakeABreak2 it's such a shitty feeling when it stays negative. Constantly reading about people getting their bfps well in advance, doesn't help does it. But then there are also others that didn't get their bfp u til a week or so after missed AF.
Ughh, keep us updated x

TakeABreak2 · 23/08/2019 10:58

I know I don't know how many dpo with other dc but I remember clear blue saying 1-2 weeks with both of them 🤷🏼‍♀️ and I dtd the day of obvulatation and 2 days before 🤞🏼🤦‍♀️ I forgot about the app until like the day before 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

OP posts:
SLT90 · 23/08/2019 13:35

@TakeABreak2
Its probably too early to use a digital ClearBlue as they are less sensitive and 8DPO is still pretty early. Probably best to either use FRER or else wait until AF is due/late to test. You still may get a BFP!

TakeABreak2 · 23/08/2019 13:55

Slt90 when can you take a frer? And also what shops in England sell them? I went to Asda's last night and they didn't have them x

OP posts:
SLT90 · 23/08/2019 14:47

@TakeABreak2
You can use FRER from 6 days before AF is due, so if you have an average cycle length then probably any time from today (although may be best to test in the morning as it is still quite early). I don't live in England so I'm not sure, maybe somewhere like Boots or Superdrug would stock them? I didn't use them myself because I like to wait until AF is definitely late to test to save buying loads!

TakeABreak2 · 23/08/2019 14:53

At is due on 30th according to my app I go by usually the beginning of the month 1st? So not sure when to take it x

jaggynettle · 23/08/2019 18:09

I came on here to 'fess up to testing early - seems you guys have too 😂😂 two big fat negatives for me. Not even a hint of a line. Still got some abdo discomfort but nothing else.

Will absolutely not cave this week!!

jaggynettle · 23/08/2019 18:10

Boots and Superdrug definitely have Frers. Tesco only seem to have clearblues 🤷‍♀️

SLT90 · 23/08/2019 18:23

If you can wait until AF is due or late then I would really recommend it. I knew my longest ever cycle had been 33 days but was predicted a 29 day cycle, and I waited the 33 days before being certain AF was late. Then I got a super clear BFP and DH was able to check the result with me 😊😊😊 no squinting and guessing and re-testing every day. If you can, keep yourself busy and wait until you are late!

TakeABreak2 · 24/08/2019 10:12

Still got a BFN this morning with Asda own 4 days before missed 🤔 think ima have to wait it out now.....

OP posts:
Nuttypea · 24/08/2019 12:47

@TakeABreak2 of you're af is due on 30th, then it's still just under a week away. I am due on the day after you and have poas twice now. Absoloutley gutting isn't it. I was in another thread where a couple of ladies said they didn't get their bfp until day of/after af was due and they had tested every single day and only just had a faint positive on the day of af...

I know exactly how you feel, its shit. Going for a pub lunch today, was going to avoid the beer 'just in case' but have got to the point now where I already fele like I'm out this month!

Have you got any more symptoms? I had a pinching near my belly button today, but I could of just been over spotting and cinvicne myself it was there.

ABSOLUTE SODDING TORTURE

Nuttypea · 24/08/2019 12:49

Congratulations @SLT90! When are you due?

SLT90 · 24/08/2019 13:25

@TakeABreak2
I would definitely wait it out a bit longer then. Not sure how sensitive asda tests are so can't comment on that, but I think wait until closer to next weekend if you can!

@Nuttypea thanks 😊 I'm due on 20th March but still sometimes re-visit the conception threads because I love seeing people get their BFPs!

Woolylamb · 24/08/2019 13:26

Hi, please can I join? I’m 8dpo and have been sucked into the emotional rollercoaster that is early testing. Tested yesterday and today and they’re almost certainly BFN but I keep thinking I can just see a hint of a line. Probably going a bit mad with my blurry line eyes! I know I just need to wait, but patience is not my strong point Blush.

charlie0692 · 24/08/2019 23:05

Hii, @woolleylamb
I'm currently 8dpo. Stupidly done a cheap test this morning and got bfn. I knew I would, still way too early but couldn't resist. I have a first response test to try either tomorrow or monday. The tww is just torture! Does anyone have an symptoms? I had some cramping 2-4dpo, felt more tired than usual but then felt completely normal yesterday. Then today I've gone dizzy a few times and been shattered. 🙈 x

TakeABreak2 · 24/08/2019 23:38

@nuttypea @charlie????
Had a bit of cramping today for like littrally 5 mins that's it... sense of smell is back to mormal now i Fryed today so...... a bit tiredness but that's about it ! Got 1 Cb test left leaving it until the day I am due now... hopefully lol

OP posts:
Nuttypea · 24/08/2019 23:45

@TakeABreak2 Im keep having sudden spells of no more symptoms... Makes me think I imagined the rest too. I fell into my washing line earlier, and the very first thing I thought was "ohh maybe I'm pregnant" 😂 what are we doing to ourselves?
I have a frer in my drawer, really trying hard not to test in the morning! Are your periods really regular @TakeABreak2? Going to be the longest week ever! Xx

Nuttypea · 24/08/2019 23:48

Also... Where and what were your cramps like? I had a weird poking feeling near my belly button earlier, which I imagine has absoloutley bugger all to do with anything. Just something I've not felt before 🤷‍♀️

TakeABreak2 · 24/08/2019 23:49

@Nuttypea yeah there pretty regular.. I didn't know the exact date I was due on just 'beginning of the month' I'm going by the app when it says 30th it is only estimated 😒 now I just thought it might actually be longer to wait 🤔😪 lol I give up testing it's getting worse to see negatives ah 9dpo... was really hoping for a bfp by now!!!

OP posts:
TakeABreak2 · 24/08/2019 23:50

Erm... tmi but a bit like trapped wind in my lower stomach? But went in 5 mins with no wind? Maybe not as painful but same feeling?

OP posts:
charlie0692 · 25/08/2019 07:40

The cramps I had were really low down in my belly, bit of a dull ache not painful.
So tempted to take this first response test this morning 🙈 petrified it's going to be a bfn though x

TakeABreak2 · 25/08/2019 08:52

Did you take it?

OP posts:
charlie0692 · 25/08/2019 09:21

Yeah @takeabreak bfn 😔 x
