Just got a BFP. I took the test during my lunch break, it was more out of boredom than a real belief that I could be preggers.

Am totally stunned.

I have only had 1 AF since giving birth a year ago. That AF was eight weeks ago. I was not surprised when another did not follow 4 weeks later as I thought it would take a while for normal service to resume.

The thing is I have not had sex since the AF. Seriously. Therefore one of the following most be true:

  1. I was pregnant before last AF and it was not a real AF. But it was very, very heavy so this seems an unlikely option. It would also make me quite far along (10 weeks?) which is too scarey for words.

  2. This is an immacualte conception.

I am not at all sure what to beleive. Am sitting at my desk staring at the test. Have not called DP yet. Maybe I should call the Vatican instead.

we need to know who you are
great story! Fabulous to not know during the first trimester IMO
congratulations

jabberwocky · 02/08/2007 02:41

Too right. My bf didn't know until she was just past first trimester. Apparently she tends to have light bleeding in early pg which was mistaken both times for a period plus her dh had had a vasectomy after their first, so second ds was very much a surprise

Well, gleaned from the thread, we know: it's someone still bfeeding a 1 yr old, who is in her late 20s, is back at work, lives in a major city and has over 400 posts on MN. That should narrow it down, no?

Peachy · 02/08/2007 09:01

FLAME it's yer bloody fault too, if you'd made it to the meet up.......

(OK we were trying for ages but was in the forest lol)

FoghornLeghorn · 02/08/2007 09:13

Egg · 02/08/2007 09:15

Bugger, really want to know who it is. Nobody new has joined our Feb thread yet, except a lady expecting twins who is definitely not ISAA. Grrr.

podglet · 02/08/2007 10:06

Congratulations Peachy

Now ISAA who be thou? Congratulations! A wee miracle in your tum.

So you are in your late 20s, you're intelligent and you're off to France for 2 weeks today, and your MN name is no great shakes so we shouldn't get too excited? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm................ come on MN detectives... deduct and tell the rest of us who this is!
