I'm only 8dpo and I tested in the evening which I know isn't the best time. I thought it was obviously negative but my friend said she could see a line. With some manipulation I can see what she means.

Can anyone else see it?

@miniaturelocomotive I think I can see a line too, have you tried with clear blue or first response yet? My positive was way clearer on those that the strips xxx

miniaturelocomotive · 17/07/2019 12:20

I've bought 2 FRERs. I should probably wait until tomorrow but I might use one tonight. With DC2, I got a faint positive like that one on a Superdrug test at 12dpo and a clear positive on a FRER that evening.

@HayleyD84 I was 9dpo yesterday when I got my definite positive but I have NEVER had a positive that early, which my previous pregnancies. Fingers crossed for you. It is so hard waiting. @miniaturelocomotive my positive on the clear blue was in evening after holding my pee about 2 hours so you never know. Fingers crossed for you too xxxx

miniaturelocomotive · 17/07/2019 22:32

I took an FRER earlier this evening. I know I shouldn't have as it was the wrong time of day and obviously I'm testing too frequently. I don't know if you can see it in the photo but there is a faint line. The faintest line I've ever seen on a FRER.

That's what my FRER positive looked like early on. I can see a line on the other test too. Maybe you ovulated later than you thought?

McShakey · 17/07/2019 22:37

I do see something faint but it seems to far over

miniaturelocomotive · 17/07/2019 22:40

It does look far over, but I think the control line is a bit further over, and a bit wonky too!

I took an IC this morning which had a faint line, but fainter than yesterday. And the other FRER looks negative. My period is due tomorrow and I've got cramps. I'm thinking it might be a chemical.

Melabells · 18/07/2019 08:38

Cramps can be a good sign too, it's not over till Aunt Flo shows I've got everything crossed for you xxxx

I'm now cramping and I've had some spotting so I think that tells me more than the ambiguous tests.

Although I wasn't trying and although I was freaking out yesterday when I thought I was pregnant. It still feels a bit sad somehow.

I’m sorry to hear this. To be honest, I couldn’t see lines on any of your tests. Hope you have a good chat about all this with your partner and decide the right way forward together.

miniaturelocomotive · 19/07/2019 09:25

Thanks. I'm bleeding this morning. There were definitely faint lines on the tests, including the FRER. I struggled to see them in the photos but I could definitely see them IRL. I think it may have been a chemical pregnancy. I did a test this morning and there's still a line. I did one just with water as well to see if a line came up regardless, but it didn't, so I don't think it's the tests. Especially given the line on the FRER as well.

I do feel a bit sad, but it is for the best. We do plan to have a baby in the future but this is sooner than we had planned so, while it wouldn't have been a catastrophe, not being pregnant right now is for the best.

Thanks everyone for your support and entertaining my obsessing over the past few days!

Melabells · 19/07/2019 12:43

I've had a few chemicals and it can be demoralising but it will happen. hugs xxxx

miniaturelocomotive · 20/07/2019 20:28

Now I seem to have stopped bleeding. After about 36 hours of very heavy bleeding. Is that normal for a chemical?

OP posts:
Melabells · 21/07/2019 18:05

The last one I had I bled heavy two days and then just spotted for another two and half days. Xx
