Laboquick ovulation year - see pic

I know this is very likely a negative result but it’s a little darker than a few days ago so am I likely to ovulate soon???

Hey girls, so I just got my first flashing smiley on the clear blue 💗 dunno why I’m so excited! I’m thinking I may ovulate over the next couple of days? Not sure how it works! Weird as I done one this morning and nothing and now on a whim tested and it’s a flashy! Was starting to worry I was infertile as just getting a circle! Done a cheap opk too and there’s a line but it’s not quite there yet.. so all looks about right!

How is everyone? Had a few drinks last night and a late night so feeling a bit 🤪

@sunflower2019 woohooooo haha. That's good. Usually you will get a flashing smiley for roughly 5 or so days, and then it should come to a static smiley. Keep testing but only once a day in the AM to get accurate results.
I am going to start testing with my CB digital in 3 or so days. My period came back a bit more today after no bleeding as of last night and this morning, suddenly felt something this afternoon-good job I was protected! So it does look like my AF is 5 days like the old days!
So I am going to start doing my OPK's in a couple of days. Now you get cracking with DTD! xx

@Itsemily that’s good! Least you have a regular cycle, mine last 5 days too!

I’m hoping this month is it but I’m reluctant to get excited as I’ve been pretty stressed and just asked dp to dtd with me and he says he’s tired so gone for a nap 😂 we will see....

Apparently my app says ovulation due around 28th so reckon it’s pretty close, as my cheapky opk was quite dark... so maybe sooner! Xx

I can't even remember what the end of a period feels like because I thought I had ha day period back beginning of this month but it was super light , more spotting, and now I know this was a proper period but how do I know when it's coming to an end as I'm slightly spotting now (sorry tmi), it's not a full flow, but does it go more of a discharge ? I don't want to assume it's finished, DTD and it not end pleasantly lol...

@Sunflower2019 that’s great news about your smiley! I’ve recently bought some cheap OPKs as I just wanted to check I’m actually ovulating!

@Itsemily I sometimes get that with my period, it goes and then comes back for a few days. Hopefully it stops soon for you!

I’ve had PMS symptoms today. I’m due AF in 5 days so I’m bracing myself for that. Defo not my month to have conceived as we haven’t DTD enough I don’t think. I’ve felt very teary and anxious all day, hormones combined with stress of TTC are not good!

@LazyDogFox it only takes the once! You could be in with a chance! My Auntie had sex once in a month (Exciting I know), wasn't trying for a baby , was on the pill , wasn't tracking ovulation or anything. She got pregnant!

AF shows up but I just have a feeling. We will soon find out I suppose!

I’ve still got the flashing smiley this morning so that’s good news! I’ve normally ovulated by now if I’m going by my app and cheapy opks.. but hoping it is just my cycle trying to get back to normal! Just want the static now 😍

Well I did two cheapie tests this morning, one at 6.45 and I thought I saw something like a shadow, did another at 9.15 and there’s still a pinkish shadow but I’m sure it’s just an indent in some dodgy tests. My boyfriend says he can’t see it so maybe it’s just my eyes!

Hey guys! AF came today! Disappointed but kind of happy that I'm getting more regular as it's pretty much bang on so that's good news! Fingers crossed for this month!

With regards to your flashing smiley how many days has that been? Have you been DTD anyway? I don’t really know how they work if I’m honest but I’m guessing flashing means you’re near peak ovulation? Xx

@LazyDogFox I know it’s to surreal isn’t it.. I was like that when I found out I was pregnant with dd.. didn’t even feel pregnant!

It was flashing this morning and my opk was darker so was hoping it would be a solid smiley.. but I’ve just done another opk and about to check it.. I may try hold pee for 3/4 hours and do another clear blue as I’ve either missed it or it’s very close!!! Then I’ve got that whole dreaded tww 🙄 xxx

Yet again another UTI 😢 laying in the bath trying to relieve it.. not sure why I keep getting them, maybe it’s the constant dtd? Sure I use to have this much before tho!!

@Sunflower2019 oh no I hope you’re ok. I take cranberry pills most days now (dr has said they’re ok ), because when I first met DH I got UTI’s all the time and I was like it must be from DTD more often . Then they stopped coming When I took the pills . The I stopped taking them and didn’t have any infections for ages then when we started DTD every other day or so , I got another infection . First one in about a year. I highly recommend taking cranberry pills from Holland and barrett , they are amazing at preventing the infections . X

Oh really.. well I’ve been drinking glasses and glasses of cranberry.. like a weird person 😂 must be dtd I said to dp I’m allergic to his semen, he didn’t look amused
I know you are meant to pee straight after but I’ve been just falling asleep as it’s late. My dp is starting his new job so has to be asleep by 9 every night so going to be weird as he has to leave the house by 5am :/

Well I’m super grumpy tonight 🤦🏽‍♀️ Dp gone to bed as we argued over the milk 😂 he’s eating more and using so much more milk since he’s started this job.. and we just flipped at each other! Think it’s tiredness... feel like I’ll never get pregnant because of the stress. I just find him such hard work sometimes 😐 I literally do everything in the house atm, paying all the bills until he gets his pay at his new job.. 🙄

@Sunflower2019 try not to stress, it can have an effect on things like ovulation etc. For saying how much I overthink things, I have generally been really chilled out. My heart sinks a bit if DH stay sup late playing on his xbox , or goes to bed early but the last few days he has been the one making the first move which is nice!

It's hard with bills etc but it'll work out when your Husband gets paid. Try not to argue over the little things xxx
