@Tamalama I think I will be joining you 😢 did a test first thing as I’d convinced myself and bfn! I think I’m 12 dpo so would think I would see something by now? Everything else pointing to AF - boobs so tender, feeling a bit sick, moody...

I’m wondering if I just didn’t ovulate? If I had potentially ovulated early and missed it with the opks then AF should be here by now...but I didn’t get anywhere with the opks and only had minimal CM. Any thoughts?

@mumofbun - do you temp at all? OPKs and temps combined give a really good view of Ov, as OPKs alone don’t mean you have, unfortunately.

I don't temp - this was my first month trying OPKs as i thought i had a good idea of when i was ovulating but as i didn't get any positives it's hard to know if i'm right or just missed the surge. I think i will try temping next month - do you do it and do you have any recommendations for apps etc?

@mumofbun - to be fair, the first month I tried OPKs, I couldn’t find my surge. Don’t get disheartened, it can be tricky to catch.
I use IC OPKs twice a day when they start to get darker to make sure I don’t miss it (too expensive to use CB twice a day!)

I bought the Femometer from Bongmi; it’s in Amazon for about £28. You get an app with it that analyses your OPK strips too and tells you if you’ve got any issues with your luteal phase etc by analysing your chart against the data it has.
It’s great, and has given me a lot of peace of mind!

There’s also a good free charting resource on OvaGraph, which is based on the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book by Toni Weschler. Fertility Friend is another popular one.
Obviously you’d still need to buy a BBT thermometer, but it gives you the freedom of choice!

That's good to know! I've had a look at my OPKs again as i had photographed them and there was a line the Sunday PM (9th) and Tuesday AM (11th) though neither were darker than the guideline and also i remember thinking at the time i might've mixed up Sunday and Monday's as i only decided to label them after the fact. So i put down Tuesday the 11th as ovulation as i think the surge must've been overnight Mon-Tues.

Starting to look into the thermometers now! Femometer sounds good if the app can also look at the OPKs for you!

I have itchy feet to test but when I think about it I think any symptoms are all in my head buttttt many women fall pregnant with no symptoms as it is very very early really trying to stay positive

@mrssunshinexxx I have no idea 😩 this is our first month ttc, I'm 7 or 8 dpo and have been having major cramping the last 24 hours particularly on the left side (don't know if it makes a difference which side). How about you? X

@mumofbun a surge can be missed as can only be a couple of hours and can be while you sleep. Everyone is different and going by mine the last 2 months 2 cycles yours can be different as well. Spotting if not normal for you sounds positive 🤞🏻 some don't get their bfp til days after their missed period 🤞🏻

Thanks ladies for all the nice comments, I'm not too bad I guess. Glad that at least it's here so I get it over and done with and try again. All my apps now say I'm due to ovulate 7th July. My husband is working away abroad for a week as of 7th July, so we'll have to dtd like bunnies all of next week as he's going to stay near the airport on the evening of the 6th. Hopefully it'll be enough...

@Tamalama my dh works offshore and it is so annoying when fertile week is when he's away but I think if you dtd 4th 5th & 6th at the least that should cover you x

@Abi58 Thanks for the pep talk - i'm not actually due until the end of the week so i'm just going to keep calm and wait til then!

@mrssunshinexxx AF due Sunday for me so if I don't see show signs of it arriving over weekend, I could test. In theory I would wait until Monday to test (when I'm officially late) but I don't think I'm that patient.

I was feeling quite positive past week as I've had so many symptoms which I don't normally have. But the closer it gets the less positive I'm getting

I'm a bit annoyed at the medical profession for making me believe the nano second I missed a pill I would be pregnant for all these years. After all these months using no contraception whatsoever I'm still not pregnant.....yet! 😉

@SweetChillis I know i naively thought it would happen month 1

We can defo wait until Sunday I have none in the house and am planning to buy some on sat eve and I wouldn't use them until FMU on Sunday

@SweetChillis same!! I was naive to think it would happen straight away too and didn't even realise you had a fertile 'window' and the rest of the month was dud!

On another note, CD28, predicted 10DPO and after 3 days of spotting.. the witch has arrived. Just as my FRER were delivered by amazon.. talk about timing 😂
I think I've gained at least an extra day on my LP so hopefully it will keep on increasing and give me a better chance 🤞
