Has anyone tried this supplement? I’ve read a lot about it being good to help rebalance hormones after the pill and just wondering has anyone any actual experience using it?

No but I tried a few other things. Dont rely know if or what had an effect but did get my period back. I had acupuncture, drank raspberry leaf tea occasionally and took vitamin b supplements!

@Pastaalldsylong how long did it take for yours to come back?

I finished the pill beginning September and got period end of November. It felt a long time although realistically its not. How long has it been for you?

PeanutButter19 · 08/06/2019 08:32

@Pastaalldaylong I ended mine start of April but no sign just yet, I’m one of those over thinkers and panic but I’ve become a bit more settled and know it’ll make its way eventually! I’ve been getting proper cramps on and off the last two weeks, was convinced I was getting it last week

@PeanutButter19 yes I know the feeling! I was getting anxious by the end and was so happy when it arrived (although coudl barely call it a period) but good news is after that one I got pregnant straight away Smile are you tracking ovulation?

PeanutButter19 · 08/06/2019 10:57

@Pastaalldaylong I think I worry because when I came off the implant a few years ago I went to the doctors after 5 months of it not coming and they put me on the pill to ‘regulate my periods’ never thought much more about it until deciding we wanted to start ttc, if I knew back then I would of waited and tried to get everything back on track. Yeah been doing my bbt but no spikes and tried ovulation sticks for ages but always negative so thought I will wait until I get my first one the use the sticks again

@PeanutButter19 I know how you feel.. everyday feels forever when you're waiting for it to happen.
I agree, I really dont want to ever go on the pill again really. No one tells you about how it can mess with your hormones! Just glad I came off it a few months before I wanted to ttc.

PeanutButter19 · 08/06/2019 18:53

@Pastaalldaylong no they definitely don’t, I went genuinely concerned about my cycles and the doctor had me convinced the pill was the best thing never mentioning the periods are fake so I don’t think il ever go back on it again either

Didn’t want to read and run but it took me 80 days to get my first period after the pill. 80 f*ckin days!!
