I've just read another thread, and now I am really oncerned:

dh and I forgot to use a condom a couple of weeks back
I had no pmt
my period was very short and light (mooncup not even a quarter full overnight)
my boobs are bigger now than before my period

There's no way I'm buying a test in my local chemist - it'll have to wait until I go into town

Not sure how I feel about this - I want another but dd is only 11 months

Not sure what to say to you Roshkva except - you won't know til you test.

We are TTC no 3 at the moment so might be a bit if it's a BFP!

Roskva · 17/07/2007 16:07

It took 3 years of trying for dd to arrive, so I guess we thought that one forgotten condom wouldn't make a difference

I know you say that your DD is only 11 months but wre you planning on having anymore?

mumofSlytherinsmonsters · 17/07/2007 16:15

mcdreamy, she said in her op that she wants another.

Nothing to say excet that every niggle is a symptom if you are looking for pregnancy.

eleusis · 17/07/2007 16:16

I think 11 months is long enough to wait. Of course, it does mean you'll have to push one of thae bloody double prams.

mumofSlytherinsmonsters · 17/07/2007 16:17

if it is +ve then your DD will be 18 months so a bit older

McDreamyGonagall · 17/07/2007 16:17

I've got 19 months between DC - and that was deliberate although I still can't understand what possessed us to have another one when we weren't coping brialliantly with the one we had!

It's possible and you can survive - ooo how exciting!

Ready · 17/07/2007 18:22

Roskva - Long time no "speak" - how are you sweets? Sorry to hear that you are concerned about the possibility of a pregnancy. I'd switch places with you in a heartbeat . Hope you are ok?

sparklesandwine · 17/07/2007 18:37

I have (an unplanned!) 16 mths between DS2 & DS3 hard work but fun - plus you've got a few months to get used to the idea i'm sure you'll be fine if the BFP comes you'll have lots of support on here

Roskva · 17/07/2007 23:25

Hi there, Ready. Well, I was going to start trying when dd got to a year old. The thing is, I think dh is a lot less keen than me on another - but then, he wasn't exactly supportive when dd was on the way, and now he's a doting dad. And he's been less than helpful about contraception ie moaning about "nasty rubber things that cut off his circulation" - anything that involves hormones makes me ill, which limits the options somewhat. I can't get into town until the end of the week, so I'm trying to think who I could persuade to go to the local chemist for me, to buy a test.

eleusis · 18/07/2007 08:18

Buy one online. Surely one can be found on e-bay or an online pharmacy.

pindy · 18/07/2007 08:35

I have only 17 months between my 2, hard work for the first 6 months then they amused each other!!! DD is the oldest so she had her own living doll!!!!

Good luck - you will survive, we have so far! DD is nearly 15 and DS is 13.5 years.

Time has flown.................

cedar12 · 18/07/2007 09:48

Hi Roskva Go on and buy a test and put us out of are misery put some dark glasses on and brave the chemist. Good Luck

mumofSlytherinsmonsters · 18/07/2007 10:12

Roskva · 18/07/2007 11:54

I wimped out of going into the chemist - too many people I know in there . I've got to go into town later on, so I'll got to tescos...

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 18/07/2007 16:54

mumofSlytherinsmonsters · 18/07/2007 20:43

Roskva · 18/07/2007 20:59

didn't get to tescos - dd, who rarely sleeps in the afternoon, decided to have a 2 hour nap. So tomorrow, after breakfast, tescos here we come...
