no periods but i don't think pregnant

Hello everyone, I'm new on this site and hope you might help me!
We've stopped the pill 6 months ago- we were hoping ttc this summer actively and thought we'd give a bit of time to my body to get back to normal. It took a bit of a while for my period to come back but it did and since then my cycles are pretty long- average of 35 days.
Last month I swore I felt my ovulation a couple days after sex but my periods never came. I am now on day 46 and still nothing. My temp is low (36.4) and have been so for the last 10 days. I've been struggling with acute sinusitis but the doctor tells me it won't have any impact on my periods or ovulation- even the antibiotics I have taken.
I did a pregnancy test a week ago- nothing. Yesterday I decided to try an ovulation test (clearblue digital) and it came out positive? this was the very first test I did in the pack. (smiley face) but I took some more since and they are negative.
I am really worried that I am having issues to ovulate, I am 31 and worried it's just not working for me :(

Take a pregnancy test hun. You can show that you're ovulating in early pregnancy. Not sure about the low temp though.

I just did another ovulation test and it's positive again ??? Is this normal?

Ovulation tests won't tell you anything at this point in your cycle. Take a pregnancy test.

even if I am ovulating super late? As in ovulating on day 46? Is this even possible?

Nothing is impossible but I'd say it's extremely unlikely. If you get a negative hcg test, see your gp.

if I am not pregnant, what could it be you think? I'll do the pregnancy test tonight and then book to see my gp next week

I'm not sure. It could just be a missed period. They do happen but I'd still make an appointment to be sure.
