For anyone who normally spots before period and got pregnant..

Did you still spot a little before you got positive and pregnancy continued okay? I’m a little nervous as with my first two no spotting (but I also didn’t spot before periods then). As I’ve gotten older (6 years since I was pregnant w ds). I started spotting a couple days before period. So when I started the signs of spotting this month I thought I’m out for sure. But got a positive today and spotting didn’t progress. It normally does. But now I’m so nervous and keep checking if spotting. Right now clear cm.

Hi OP, ever since having DD I have spotted for up to 5 days before my period. I got my BFP this month and didn't spot, however I spent a lot of time reading threads about this and from what I can tell plenty of spotters still spot like usual the month they get their BFP and some don't. Although I didn't spot before having DD, the month I fell pregnant with her I did spot for 6 days before AF was due, it was so heavy I presumed it was an early period, when I had an early scan they explained it as when baby is implanting they can disrupt either smaller or larger blood vessels which is why there is such a variation in experiences.

Basically, I dont think either the presence or lack of spotting around AF time is indicative of anything, whether you are a spotter or not.

Thanks for responding! I guess I’ll have to wait and see. Every pregnancy is different. Good news is it has not progressed more today. So as long as it doesn’t progress I’m getting more hopeful.
