Basal body temp - does it mess up if you get up in the night?

I am considering buying a basal body thermometer to start temping. However, I’m wondering if it messes things up if you have to get up in the night to pee or if a child wakes. I would say I’m getting up at least once or twice a night. I haven’t had a full nights sleep withbout waking for 8 years! I’ve got two kids and a puppy (the puppy is the only one who reliably sleeps through the night!). My youngest wakes perhaps 3 times a week and my eldest once. They want me to sleep with them...which is fine. But I’m wondering if getting up at night will mess w my temperature?

I used it while co-sleeping and waking frequently with a then 1 year old and it was fine.
