I'm 4dpo, fairly sure this month isn't going to work but wondered if anyone wanted to join me in the crazy 2ww?

Can I rejoin you ladies? I'm 5DPO based on FF and losing my fucking mind. My aim is not to test until next Friday at 12DPO fully expecting to cave at 8DPO

Ladies, just out of interest, how often and when did you BD this cycle? I'm always wondering if DH and I are hitting it on a par with other couples on here. This cycle we've done:

O – 2: 1X BD (pm)
O – 1: 2X BD (am + pm)
O day: 1XBD (pm)
1DPO: 1XBD (am)

Is that enough / roughly what you've done?

I've tried cycles following smep, then some where it's every day around O then just doing it when we want (no timing) this cycle was pretty much more relaxed and probably every other day. Some say every day around O others say if the sperm are lazy or low count every other is better, just from what I've seen on the internet. So hard to know really...

@kell2126 wow, that's a lot of BD! Defo enough I'd say. DH and I only managed it once this cycle (we had visitors and then he was away) - I was sooooo furious about it but then I got my bfp yesterday! It only takes once!

@peasando omg that is amazing!! Especially after just the once. Congratulations 😊 how many dpo are you if you don't mind me asking? Did you have any symptoms?

@Lottiepink we only dtd once the month I conceived my son too, I still can't quite believe it! DH is delighted with himself of course and keeps telling me that he has 'super sperm' 🙄 I'm 12dpo today, the lines are still pretty faint but definitely there 😃😃 Top one is yesterday (11dpo) bottom one is today. Feeling pretty rubbish tbh - feel sick, my boobs hurt, my back hurts and my head hurts!

@peasando hahaha, well he maybe has 🤣🤣 you obviously timed the once perfectly Both times 😊

I was so tempted to test today 9dpo, had weird symptoms but actually just think it's af and don't wanna get my hopes up too much 😕

@Lottiepink you have more willpower than me, I've been testing from about 6dpo, I do every month and I really shouldn't because it just makes me miserable. So hard not to though, especially when you read on here about people getting really early bfps!

Hi, I really feel like I am going insane please help. 13th March I slept with my ex boyfriend and finished taking my pill 16th March. I never had my withdrawal bleed which I only have to miss 2 pills & I bleed so I was a bit worried I done numerous tests and all negative. I stayed off the pill and slept with him again 29th March at this point for a few days before i had a really weird discharge that literally looked like an uncooked egg. It even came out whilst I was having sex and there was no hiding it there was loads. From the 31st I would say my discharge changed to like a milky white wet discharge. Not long after that my breasts became swollen & achey (I have false breasts so it's unusual) by the next Friday I literally couldn't fasten my Jean's I was so bloated, I put this down to constipation coz I know I had been suffering from it. I get mild cramps & think oh this is my period but it's not I just need to burp or pass some wind. I've been the toilet and my stomach remains bloated and by lunch time I have to move my tights to below my belly because it feels too tight. I still have the white discharge but my breasts aren't swollen anymore but my nipples still feel sensitive & I get the odd twinge in my boob that feels like a pulled muscle. I have been going to bed by 9pm which is not like me & I wake up atleast twice to go the toilet otherwise I sleep through. I feel like I can smell things I havent before they seem so strong I took a test this morning and it was negative (I have done about 100000 I have been going insane) i am really worried i have worked myself up & convinced myself i am pregnant. Of course the ex boyfriend doesn't believe me because i thought i was from the first time we slept together. Please help!!!!

Also I am sorry if I have not used the correct terms I have seen things like CM & DD and I'm new to this so I'm not sure what they all mean so apologies if I use any incorrect terms.

woohoo @peasando that is amazing – huge congrats to you and your DH (and his super sperm!)!!!! It's very reassuring to hear it only took one hit both times! Please keep us updated – I LOVE seeing a BFP progression

@Lottiepink yeah twice in one day was a bit much, but we reasoned that we could take it easy the rest of the month. How did you find the SMEP? Worth a go or too much? V hopeful for your testing – bit early for AF symptoms, at 9DPO

Hi @Raychel no need to apologise – the abbreviations take a bit of getting used to! My advice would be to give it another couple of days (if you can hold out) and then take another pregnancy test – ideally a First Response Early Result test: I think it's the case that the pregnancy hormone doubles every 48 hours so giving it some more time should give you a more unequivocal answer. We all understand how hard it is waiting to find out and you are welcome to vent your frustrations here till you do. x

@pesando how many cycles were trying for this one? Anything you did differently this time / any new symptoms that gave the game away?

@kell2126 Thank you for replying, ok I will try to leave it a few more days. I suspect with me stopping my pill 4 weeks ago tomorrow that my normal AF would be due tomorrow I'm not sure how it would work without the pill because I'm not sure if the clear egg white CM on 29th March (which was 2 weeks after I stopped my last pill) would be from ovulation? I Are any of them symptoms pregnancy symptoms?

@kell2126 3 or 4...getting pregnant hasn't really ever been a problem for me, it's more keeping them that's been the issue. The thing that made me think something was up this month was that my back was (and is) really sore - I remember that from when I was first pregnant with my son too.

@Raychel07x sound like you could have had sex sound ovulation time. Get a test and test again in a few days.
@peasando fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time.

@kell2126 go you! We do that over fertile period normally, although not this month. DP always says "when you are fertile you can't get enough of me}"

10dpo, do I test?? It's obviously not gonna be fmu but was about 4 hours since I last went. Only got internet cheap tests tho...

@kell2126 SMEP was ok, but my ovulation kept moving so ended up dtd 6 days in a row 🤣 I think I will stick with every other day from now on, and then whenever else we fancy it lol.

@Raychel07x hope you are ok, as the others have said about the testing, you will just have to wait it out until then I suppose 😕

Got really bad cramps now so 100% think I'm out, but suppose will just have to wait and see...

@Lottiepink thank you. You aren't out till AF shows up!! I think it's unlikely to be a BFP for me this month as we hardly saw each other to dtd. Did it 4 days before ovulation and about 12 hours after ovulation. Every other month we have dtd everyday, often twice a day and we haven't caught so doubtful not DTD will help
