Trying to conceive

Hi ladies, I’m hoping someone here might be able to help!! We’re ttc dc2, have an almost 3 year old, took us 31 cycles to conceive, so far we are on cycle 8. I’m using the clear blue digital ovulation since Friday which was day 12 of my cycle, cycles varies from 29-31 days. According to Flo today is when I should be ovulating, test at 2pm today said no. Just been to bathroom and noticed cm. Not quite egg white but almost. Should I test again tonight?

I’m all paranoid we didn’t do enough. We dtd the day of the static and two nights before that but not last night, roll on the 26th to see what happens 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m a bit the same, we dtd Saturday Sunday and Monday and then got positive opk Thursday, dtd Friday morning🙈 everyone is sick in our house and I couldn’t persuade him last night. I doubt we did it enough. Pretty sure we didn’t.,.

Haha pretty similar, we did Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evening after positive Thursday morning. 🤞is both x

I also found flo, Ovia & clue were off for me. Glow and natural cycles seem to work and adjust depending on what I input

@Explorers10 I’ve noticed with Flo that it never adjusts anything according to what I input. Regardless of the length of my cycle and other details it predicts ovulation at the exact same time every month. According to my opk it was out by 4/5 days

Can I join you please? Could do with someone to listen.. it’s a long story...

DH and I are TTC#3 and only on 3rd cycle-been using internet cheapie OPKs and last month great got +pos opk on CD14/15 but didn’t catch eggy, ended on 28day cycle (which used to be the norm for me). So 23rd Feb CD1... OPKs all negative right up to CD15/16 when I ran out. Then on cd19 had ewcm! Oh and dtd cd16 and cd20 (DH worked away).. so now I’m on CD25 felt so exhausted last night went to bed at 8:30, today boobs are burning painful and feel tired but BFN.. I know I’m still a few days off but I don’t know where I stand with dates. If I ovulated when I had the ewcm then I’d only be 6dpo and I doubt I’d get any soreness anywhere!! If I ovulated late then I have another week of this hellish 2ww!!! 😩 Any thoughts would be amazing.. thank you ladies x

Basically I feel your pain. It took me 31 cycles to conceive ds. And it we’ve been trying since last summer.

Cheap opk didn’t work for me. Never got a single positive.
Clear blue digital did. According to that I ovulated 5 days later than flo predicted, so cd 19. We dtd that day so fingers crossed.

Maybe you ovulated later than you think and I’d say you tested too early. I’m not testing til the 26th at the earliest and I’m on cd23 now. I am absolutely exhausted today. Was in bed early last night and cannot motivate myself to do anything today. I’m dying to test but I know it’s too soon.

Wait another few days and try again. It’s so hard isn’t it? I cried when I got my period last month. Fingers crossed for you.x

Ahhh bless you.. yeah it sucks this waiting. So our dates aren’t too far from each other’s! Would be cool to have someone to symptom spot with 😁
I’ve found the cheap OPKs ok but only been using them 3 cycles and don’t have the spare pennies for the expensive ones! Lol
I’m pretty certain I ovulated later but don’t understand the painful breasts.. it’s like a burning sensation-never had it this painful
before, I’m certain it’s AF getting ready to show ☹️ But then there’s the going to bed really early last night and feeling hungry today (didn’t even want dinner yesterday) and light cramps coming and going.. sound like af. 😤

Thank you! Our dates are very similar! @bumpingalong84 is the same too.
Oh I don’t know about will power, I think I’m just trying to delay the disappointment.
But...I am starving and exhausted.

The painful breasts were the first thing I had with ds, good god it hurt to even look at them. It’s so nice to have someone to share this stuff with. Not easy to do it in real life. All the baby dust to you too and keep me posted.x

Don’t lose hope! With DD1 I didn’t get a BFP until the day after af was due and that with a First Response and even then it was a super faint line. You’re not out yet! Big hugs and everything’s crossed for you. X

@Roxybaby12 thank you! I’ll wait and see what happens in the next few days. I used a clear blue test. Not the digital one.
I just feel a bit weird about the whole thing. Dh said on Sunday that he has a feeling we won’t have anymore😳 that’s been playing on my mind too.
He’s totally on board trying and definitely wants more but he has a feeling it won’t happen for us

Oh sweetie, I do understand how it feels but please don’t give up.. maybe take a ‘break’ from trying and just have fun. It might take the stress out of it! I know for us as soon as we’re stressed over anything it sends our bodies into overdrive and nothing works. But it’s all easier said then done.
Maybe DH will feel a bit better if you suggest a more relaxed approach? My DH seems to be working away at my most fertile times! So very annoying-I’m sure he’s doing it on purpose, it makes us ladies feel they don’t want anymore but I wonder if it’s their own way of coping!
I tested yesterday and bfn.. I’m not 100% on dates this cycle so may be due af today/tomorrow.

Thank you Roxy, I think you might be right, maybe forgetting about the opks and timing might help. One or other of us has been sick at my most fertile times so that’s puts a stop to anything🤣 I think the reason I’m so caught up in it is that I didn’t want a massive gap and ds is almost 3 now. I think you’re right about the men! I’d say dh is preparing himself in case it doesn’t happen and he’s happy enough that we have our lovely boy

My cycle varies in length from 28-35 so not certain myself either. Maybe I’m not out yet! When are you going to test again? Keeping everything crossed for you and thank you for replying to me. It’s nice to have someone to tell.xx

I’ve tested every morning (bought some ASDA cheapies) and bfn but today I tested with ASDA and Superdrug and I don’t know if I’m seeing faint lines or evaps... I think I’m about 17dpo-seems a bit late... please could I borrow your eyes?

Hi @Roxybaby12, only seeing this now. I’m ok. Period arrived in Tuesday so that’s me out. I’m ok though. It’ll be ok. I can see a faint line in the first pic!!!! Oh I hope it is but I really can see it, not sure about the second one but the first looks like something to me!!x

And I should add, every time I look at a thread with a pic like those I can’t ever see anything. Ever! But I really do see something in that first pic of yours. 🤞

So sorry the witch got you ☹️ I remembered when we were TTC dc1 I asked my husband to take zinc tabs-it’s suppose to help the swimmers.. we tried that and took a much more relaxed approach to ‘trying’ -it took 8cycles but we now have a soon to be 5yo. I’m sure you’ll get your bubba soon.
Thanks for looking at those pics. I did a frer on sat eve and Sunday morning both were BFP.
I’m gonna keep a look out for your updates!! Don’t give up. Xx
