I thought I'd start a march bus as I'm def out for feb 👹

Ttc #1
Cycle # 9
I'm 34, H 30

Waiting for cd21/thyroid blood test results next week and will go from there. Had good results on my scan last week.
Can't be arsed with opk/spem/conceive plus Or any of that, so taking the month off. Will just be sure to dtd around expected ov 🤷🏼‍♀️
And continuing with acupuncture.

Interesting @ronniemipperton in that article it suggests sperm's good, orgasm's bad: "Furthermore, uterine myometrial activity is increased during intercourse, especially in the event of female orgasm (Fox et al., 1970). These contractions may interfere with implantation of the early embryo, since high levels of spontaneous uterine activity are associated with poor IVF–embryo transfer outcome (Franchin et al., 1998b)."
So it seems to suggest having sex without pleasure... women getting the raw deal AGAIN! Hmm

ronniemipperton · 27/02/2019 20:44

Oh ffs! I know what you mean about looking for reasons though, I’ve had a MMC at 10 weeks and MC at 6 weeks, which I’ve variously blamed on a walking holiday, eating beansprouts, pollution, planking, pilates, too much protein, not enough iron etc etc etc... may as well add orgasms to the list!

Peachyx2505 · 28/02/2019 09:58

@PyjamasForever it's crazy isn't it. I love working permanent nights tho.... despite the tiredness and not knowing what day it is 😂 I'm only working 4 nights in March as I'm using up annual leave. I've only been back at work since October after having 5 months off after an op, so think I'm still adjusting. Hats off to anyone who does days and nights.

@sukisydney hope you catch ov too. Have you got anything nice planned this weekend?

TulipsTwoLips · 28/02/2019 10:15

Oh no 😢 We BD’d this morning at 4dpo. Hopefully it won’t affect implantation 😢.

Anyone else at 4dpo? When are you going to test?

As ever, good luck to everyone! 💐🤞🏼

sukisydney · 28/02/2019 10:37

@Peachyx2505 nothing special just family time and early nights Smile - my cycle seems all off anyway after the CP, so not holding out much hope this month xx

@TulipsTwoLips I'm just clutching at straws looking for answers, which I think is normal after a pregnancy loss, although in reality I'm sure if a pregnancy is going to happen an orgasm or two isn't going to stop it. Really sorry if my neurotic Google trawl worried you (and for balance I actually read another study today saying couples who had more sex in the 2WW had more pregnancies, so I think it's just a case of if you hunt for any answer on Google you'll find it somewhere!) xx

TulipsTwoLips · 28/02/2019 11:02

@sukisydney I know exactly what you mean! No worries, you didn’t worry me! I’m an internet trawler too!

🤞🏼 to you for next time

Broodyaf · 28/02/2019 12:01

I'm 3DPO today.
Every cycle I tell myself I'm going to hold out to minimum 10DPO but that never happens - I just love POAS 🙄🙈

MrsRLM · 28/02/2019 13:39

I'm joining the March bandwagon!

Age 29
Cycle #2
Ovulation is due tomorrow/Saturday. CD 14 at the moment.

lori2019 · 01/03/2019 06:53

I'm now 5 DPO, feeling different this month, different mentality about it all I think. Have decided no testing until day after I'm due. Wasted too much on them last month

ovulation days were mega stressful so maybe I've just convinced myself it isn't to be.

I wonder how long this will last 😂

Hanni1234 · 01/03/2019 08:25

Anybody testing this weekend?? I’m 8dpo today, so planning to test with a FRER on Sunday morning. I got a positive at 10dpo with my last pregnancy, but had loads of symptoms by then, and this month, nada, nothing!

TulipsTwoLips · 01/03/2019 08:45

I’ve decided not to test at all, just to see if AF arrives.

Well that’s my plan atm anyway!

workinprogressmum · 01/03/2019 16:08

TTC #2 (DS is 4.5)
Age 32
Cycle 4 (although had CP in Jan and were not not trying from August)
CD 13
AF due 19th March

Took 16 months to conceive DS so probably here for the long haul! Possible endometriosis and have polycystic ovaries

PyjamasForever · 01/03/2019 19:39

Perhaps those of us who are trying to avoid testing early can all support each other? I said I wouldn't last month, but had a weirdly long cycle and became obsessed.

According to Ovia I'm 2dpo today, but I think I'm actually 7dpo today. Have had a metallic taste in my mouth, which was a symptom I had in my last pregnancy.

Southernbelle2019 · 01/03/2019 20:11

Oh ladies 😂 I haven’t looked at this thread in a week or so, i don’t know if I should laugh or cry. I’m not sure I could deal with letting him send extra swimmers but not finishing myself for the 2WW but I imagine questioning your every action after a loss must be the worst thing ever.

I agree though, the internet will tell you in absolute terms why something is both the best and the worst. It’s enough to drive you crazy. If it was down to carrots and TWW organsms then the world would be much emptier I’m sure ❤️

I am CD 1 (boo!) but was expecting it and it’s leading only onto cycle 2, so I shouldn’t complain.

I am enjoying a glass of wine. And then probably another.

I saw on amazon today some sort of opk handheld thing? It looks like you insert the stick to it and it reads your hormone levels to some extent? Has anyone used one? A clear blue fertility monitor it’s called?

Southernbelle2019 · 01/03/2019 20:12

Ooo, pyjamas, ❤️❤️ Hopefully! How early did those with DC already notice symptoms? Does anyone remember?

PyjamasForever · 01/03/2019 20:34

I hope you're enjoying your wine @Southernbelle2019. I always treat myself when AF starts.

To be honest with my first pregnancy I had no idea I was pregnant until I was 5+ weeks, but retrospectively I'd had a funny taste, nausea and cramps for a while. Didn't test until I had a weird dream about being pregnant, woke up, did a test at 4am and then woke my partner up in (terrified) excitement. Also if my previous due date was accurate I ovulated a day or two after AF that time, so I wonder if I always ovulate a bit early as that's when I get ewcm and cramps (but have never used an OPK, so can't be sure)? Hence why Ovia thinks I'm 2dpo but I think I'm around 7dpo.

HappyGoLuckyGo · 01/03/2019 20:40

I had cramps on the day before AF was due and also, weirdly, veiny boobs. The veins were standing out so strongly and DH mentioned it without knowing it could be a symptom... and I told him off because I thought he was teasing me! I think that was also the day before AF was due.

ronniemipperton · 02/03/2019 07:12

I had a temperature/implantation dip at 9dpo with both my BFPs. On 9dpo today and no dip, so not holding out much hope for this month. Ah well.

sukisydney · 02/03/2019 07:33

@Southernbelle2019 veiny boobs, and although they normally get sore a couple of days before AF they were sore earlier. Also empty stomach/slight nausea on waking. Felt these things a couple of days before AF due.

@ronniemipperton could be a later implantation? 9dpo is average but can be up to 12dpo I think so you're still in!

I normally have really obv EWCM before O which is yet to arrive despite being CD13, so my cycle is def off this month. Just going to wait for the EWCM then get down to BDing I think, just want it to hurry up!

Hoping to see some BFPs appearing for everyone coming to the end of the 2WW! Smile

LJS8987 · 02/03/2019 11:12

I don't really know what to think...this has happened post mc without a period!!!!
I'm literally in a state of shock!!

March bus!
workinprogressmum · 02/03/2019 11:24

Congratulations @LJS8987!

TulipsTwoLips · 02/03/2019 11:26

Great news @LJS8987!

PyjamasForever · 02/03/2019 11:50

Huge congratulations @LJS8987!!

Soda123x · 02/03/2019 11:58

Congratulations @LJS8987 !!!
Fingers crossed for everyone else still playing the waiting game this month xx

LJS8987 · 02/03/2019 12:30

I keep thinking it isn't real!
Let's hope this is a good start to the month for everyone!!
