Fertile Feb!

Anyone out there want to join me in trying for a successful Feb?! I’m sure there are loads of us out there can can support and answer questions :)
I’m 35, TTC #2 and have been trying for 4 months or so. My Son is almost 16 months so out of that baby stage which was so much fun (although this age defo has its perks).

Okay I need to rant;
My best friend is currently pregnant, she is four weeks ahead of what I would have been if I had not miscarried in Dec.
She messaged me today saying how bored and fed up of pregnancy she is.
REALLY?!

@ale2992 if she knows about your MC I would maybe just have a chat with her and explain your so happy for her but you are struggling a little bit as you know you would be at the same stages nearly she is.

Only about 9dpo. The confusing thing is though clue says af due tomorrow flo says next Wednesday so I used a boots early and the one steps. Still have a frer hidden
In the wardrobe for if af doesn't arrive but hoped the boots might pick it up if i was

I second the scan for @tilly98 you definitely need some clarity.

Also sounds like a difficult day @ale2992 hopefully you can explain how it made you feel but if she's unaware maybe you can distance yourself a little for a while so you don't fall out in the longer term.

@lizzie198 9 dpo is so early, I would test again in another few days. I drove myself mad poas last month I'm trying to be good this month. But after @Mooey89 caved last night 🤣 I think I might test on Sunday morning when I should be about 11dpo.

@FilthyforFirth I think you just had an earlier cycle than some of us. I'll be with you on that March thread soon though I expect...

@Doris19 I was absolutely determined not to test til next Wednesday at the earliest if af hadn't shown up but I clearly have no will power lol. I'm going to try and wait and follow original plan if I can. Fx for yours x

That sounds really tough, I’m sorry. I think maybe sometimes people are just so focused on their own stuff that they don’t consider others.

@Doris19 I was SO good and didn’t retest this morning, I’m going to try to wait for Sunday to do another one!

Not really I've had a darker one depending on the time of the day. Just so confusing especially with the bloods being negative x

How late is AF?
Normally the tests get darker as the hcg increases.

I haven't had a period for 8 months. I had sex with my partner on the 3rd of January.

Have you got another appointment booked with the doctor?

Yeah on Monday morning. So hopefully I'll get some answers

Hello all! I hope I can join?
Please bear with my long winded intro- it’s relevant- well I hope :)
So, summary is I’m 30 and a recent pelvic US found at least one fibroid (my gp confirmed this over the phone and has referred me to community gynaecology on 1 March).
I was upset when this was spotted although I suffer horrendously with AF each month so was also somewhat relieved to get a partial diagnosis!
Anyway my partner and I have been living together almost 2 years (he’s 30 too) and I had mentioned ttc and initially he was quite reluctant. I decided to leave the topic for the time being and focus on my career.
However, following on from my GPs update, DP brought up the ttc and suggested we maybe stop using contraception and see what happens?
So last AF started on 3rd Feb and lasted about 4 days. We’ve DTD a few times since and now I’ve got nausea, bloating, headache etc but know this could be PMS too? I’m so confused. I’m theory AF should return next weekend but that’s not always regular. Is it normal that I’m now freaking out I may be pregnant? I’ve also been awake all night which doesn’t help either. Any suggestions welcome!

Yea its my ovulation time this week. But i got my copper coil out almost 2 weeks ago. It sounds silly. But i feel like i did with my first pregnancy. Tired and very easily annoyed. I feel pregnant and i dont know if its possible. My period is not due till for another 10 days. So its agony not taking a test. :(

@tilly98 reading your recent posts, I haven read too far back that you're getting positives.

Did you recently have a MC?

I had positive tests for 9 weeks after my mc.
I thought I was pregnant again but was my body holding on to hcg.

Hi everyone.
So I'm approaching 36(joy) and have decided I want a baby. I don't have a boyfriend or partner etc so I'm going to be going down the official donor road.
I've had my fertility MOT done and came back ok and my reserve is 'average' for my age. I've made an appointment with a nurse at the private clinic for next Friday to discuss which treatments I can try-obviously either IUI or IVF at this stage.
All I really know at this stage is that both procedures are expensive (not shocked there) but that the success rates are fairly low(sadly) for IVF but more so for IUI.
Was anyone else is this situation and was generally stuck on choosing which treatment would be better for them??... being cost effective but at the same time going in with what procedure will be more successful??!! Going by my MOT results I shouldn't have a problem to conceive BUT god knows how long it could take with other factors like stress and anxiety about it all.
It's so bloody overwhelming I feel like I'm going crackers 🤣.
Any advice or opinions would be much appriciated Xx

I caved. I did a cheap test strip yesterday which was neg. But I'm not due yet so just picked up a clear blue early one and I'm sure I can see the faintest line. My eyes may be playing tricks though. Gonna use the other test if AF doesn't show to be sure.

@LG0914 can you post a picture of your clear blue? Might help to have some extra eyes on it?

@lizzie198 I'm going to meet a friend now, does look very faint (I didn't use my first wee and I think that changes things) may post later on x

Hi everyone - currently 11dpo and AF due tomorrow... feels very much like she’s on her way. If she doesn’t arrive tonight I think I’ll test in the morning. @Scottish1 am I right in thinking you were testing today?

Hi! I am going to wait until Tuesday now if no af as due Monday. I feel like I’ve got this far, I might aswell wait the extra couple of days now.... Sorry to disappoint! 😂
My dad also went in to hospital last night with renal failure and has been diagnosed with prostrate cancer so it’s taken my mind off of testing.
