Whats going on with this effing body of mine?!

So my last AF started 11th December and i usually have a 30/31 day cycle. Im currently on day 43 of this cycle, DTD on day that AF was due (didn't realise as had no symptoms or anything) so im guessing maybe i ovulated late maybe why AF is late? Any way did a Lloyds pharmacy early detection test yesterday and both me and DH thought we could see a faint line but agreed id wait a couple more days to check again. This morning ive had quite sharp pain on one side down low, not one of my usual signs of AF but now im worried as i have a history of miscarriage and an ectopic. I hate not knowing what to do or whats going on, sorry for long post but all this messes with my head and i didn't realise how much i wanted a BFP but I know AF will turn up

I would test again if you had a faint line. If it's positive I would see a doctor about a scan with your history of ectopic

Thanks, i thought it would just be a sign AF was on the way but just cant get that faint line out of my head. Trouble is evenif i am PG then they cant scan til around 6/7 weeks to check, hate all the waiting around and not knowing

They couldn't scan, but they could do bloods to check hcg levels 48 hours apart. In ectopics, hcg tends to rise more slowly, so they would be able to tell.

I didnt think of that...trying to fight the urge to go out and buy tons of tests, just want to see that solid line but got a familiar light cramping still that makes me think AF is coming soon

Cramping is normal in early pregnancy. Definitely test again, try with first thing in the morning. A line is a line, if you had one there must have been hcg there. You could always ask for bloods too to confirm

So here i am, i was awake at 5.30 POAS the only test i had was on that picks up 25 of the hormone so not sensitive at all. I think theres another faint line but its a proper squinter and i dont have DH here to have a second look. Maybe the stress of constantly overthinking this but last night felt unusually sicky and tired so went to bed early and slept really heavy which isnt like me. Just want to know whats going on
