Faint line??

Hi everyone

I’m 2 weeks post ovulation according to my opks but not sure when my period is due as it’s vwry irregular. Last month was 39 days so if it’s the same I’ll be due AF in next few days.

I did a boots pregnancy test today (results up to 5 days early) and there’s definitely a second line but it’s faint? Also the whole screen went purple at first so I was worried I’d broken it.

My friend who has had a few chemical pregnancies ha deflated me a bit saying her positive results when it was chemical was faint like mine and after 2 weeks it should be darker.
Anyone else had a line like mine and it all been fine??? Desperate for some hope! I’ll do another test tomorrow but any support in the next 24 hours would be much appreciated :-)

I'd say a little darker yes!
Why don't you try one of the clearblue digital ones tomorrow like ozziewozzie suggested to me?

I can definitely see a faint line on those and I'm useless at seeing lines. Maybe try a digi now your 'due'

I can definately see those lines in all 3 pics. The line can’t fhsnge blue without hcg beingnpresent do that’s a great sign.
I however would always use a pink test ( pink dye). They always show up more clearer and from earlier on, so you just feel better having s more dominant line.
You don’t need to splash out. Co op do pink cheapies, chemists etc. Usually only about £3 or thereabouts. If I really can’t wsit, I’d take a FRER test.
I just think it would be really great for you to see s stronger line do you feel confident. I already am for you.

Thanks @ozziewozzie...im pretty sure im pregnant...i have a 34 day cycle & my last period was 22nd of december which would make me only 3 weeks pregnant...Not 4 weeks like someone with a 28 day cycle...That was my worry that they were faint.But now i know id only be 3 weeks im quite happy a line has come up at all...Im going to do a test tomorrow as hcg doubles every 2 days...so will see how dark they are...i have done first respone tests and they came out pink after 3 mins...then faded a LOT so im seeing more in the clearblues tbh

Well....now im even more stressed & confused...Period was due today...And it CAME!?...So am i not pregnant?...😪

Sorry to hear your period came. I am guessing it was proper period and not just spotting?
I am new to all of this but my friend had faint lines on pregnancy tests and then got her period and doctor said they were chemical pregnancies so this may be an explanation?

Yeah it was my period...bang on due date...and there no lines on any tests anymore...so I'm guessing it was a chemical pregnancy...Its just taught me a lesson not to test until I've missed a period!...Not worth the disappointment...thanks for reply & congratulations again!! @lou0712

So sorry to hear that @My3boys9910 , it is so hard not to test early and get hopes up! Fingers crossed this cycle will be the one for you.
