I thought I would start a thread for TTC #2 or 3,4,5 😆 if you are "crazy" enough 😉💙

For those of us on the "wrong side of 30" (lighthearted 😀)

35+, 40s and so on. Us mature beautiful mums that still hold out breath for some fresh meconium 😆

Good luck to us all, may the poas be with you

Whoop!! Congratulations Coffeeandcake! :) x

NamelessEnsign · 10/01/2019 18:25

Wow, that’s speedy! Congrats coffee.

Can I hop on board? I’m 35 and TTC#3, with a 7yo and a 3yo. It feels nuts to be thinking of going back to nappies and newborn days, and DH would happily stop at 2, but here we are anyway. I will be overseas with work when I ov this month so there’s only so much we can do Wink.

melibob · 10/01/2019 18:33

Hi,

Can I join too please - I am 36 (nearly 37), my DP is 49 (anyone else out there with an older DP) I have one DD who is 11 and we have been trying for 16 months. We are going for an introduction evening to a fertility clinic on Tuesday... but I’m currently 4 days late, at CD32 (But still getting BFN’s).

Does anyone else have seem to have varying cycle lengths? They used to be 28 days all the time but since TTC they are a bit all over the place anything from 26 - 36 days

NamelessEnsign · 10/01/2019 19:02

Good luck melibob. My cycles are pretty variable at 22-28 days - the short cycles are a bit crap because everything is AF, bad skin, PMS, or AF again!

Welcome!!

planespotting · 13/01/2019 10:16

Welcome @lozbee

So I am on CD25 and woke up to some spotting
So I remembered in my first pregnancy I had spotting on the day I got my BFP
So I wasted another expensive FRER Sad
I will never learn

Can someone recommend internet cheap tests? I obviously cant help myself

I guess period it is for me bah Sad

planespotting · 13/01/2019 15:57

Bah
Really sad about period now Sad

MaryShelley1818 · 13/01/2019 16:13

Welcome Lozbee and good luck!
I never used FRERs! Used IC’s which I bulk bought from Amazon and showed my BFPs with DS perfectly from 9DPO!

planespotting · 13/01/2019 16:16

Ohhh @MaryShelley1818 I might get those then
Damn period 😔

Peaky1 · 13/01/2019 21:11

@MaryShelley1818 do you have a particular brand/seller that you buy from on amazon?

MaryShelley1818 · 14/01/2019 01:10

The ones by One Step and posted by Amazon I think but they’re probably all the same tbh.

Coffeeandcake1 · 14/01/2019 15:46

Unfortunately my BFP wasnt to be, AF arrived today and all symptoms disappeared over the weekend. Must have been a chemical pregnancy as I was getting clear positives a few days ago, so disappointed. Will continue trying next month. Sad

YouMaySayImADreamer · 14/01/2019 18:54

Came on to start a similar thread but this seems to fit if I can join you all please!

I have just had a quick skim through but saw your last post coffee and i'm so sorry. It is so cruel and disappointing. I have had a cp in the past and it is so upsetting. Hope you're ok.

I'm 34 this year so possibly will be 35 by the time I give birth if that counts. TTC #3, had a slight gap as my youngest is 4. I'm feeling a bit nervous since i'm no longer in my 20s as I was last time and since there has been a little bit of a gap since I got pregnant last time.

Unsuccessful first cycle so just waiting for af to end so we can start again. AF came at the weekend but was thankfully busy. Feeling a bit down about it today but it is early days!

MaryShelley1818 · 19/01/2019 21:16

Oh I’m so sorry Coffee xxx
Welcome YouMaySay Smile

Well we DTD last night and then again this morning and also got a positive Ovulation Test result this morning so am officially in my first 2-week wait! Xx

YouMaySayImADreamer · 20/01/2019 17:06

Thanks Mary!

Ooh that is exciting! Although the 2 week wait can be anxious, I find it is quite exciting as there is always that hope that is may have worked! What date is af due for you? I think I may be not too far behind.

I am on cd8 - or so I think - my af was a slow starter last month - had some initial brief and light bleeding the 2 days before I was due and then properly started on the day I was due. So I could be between cd8-10. I had ewcm this morning so we are going to start dtd tonight for the next maybe 5 days and then every other day and see how we get on!

NamelessEnsign · 20/01/2019 19:55

Hi all, sorry to hear some of you have had negative tests.

I am on cycle 1 TTC#3 (am slightly afraid!). I was away with work so we only managed CD6 and 16, which means we almost certainly missed ovulation (going by CM I think CD14 was ovulation). My cycles are 22-28 days so it is difficult to be sure!

NamelessEnsign · 28/01/2019 20:17

How are you all doing?

I’m on CD24 now and have been spotting for the last 36 hours, but not full flow AF yet. AF for me can be 22-28 days so it’s hard to know what is going on. I’ve never had such a slow start to AF before!

YouMaySayImADreamer · 28/01/2019 20:39

Hi nameless oh how annoying for you, would you test or are you just going to wait and see?

I am a couple of days into my tww, not sure how many as I don't track ovulation through any reliable method. AF due 8th or 9th I think. Not feeling massively hopeful for some reason!

NamelessEnsign · 28/01/2019 20:50

Dreamer thank you. I really expect it is AF: I’ve been getting slightly odder AF over the last few months, so it’s probably an age thing. I guess I’ll test if AF doesn’t show up properly, but so far no heartburn/nausea/ligament pain like I had with previous pregnancies, so most likely just odd bleeding.

Good luck, even if you aren’t feeling hopeful!

NamelessEnsign · 29/01/2019 10:49

No spotting/bleeding at all, now. I have just been through the last few months of AF and figured out all my cycles have been 23-26 days. Today is day 26. Eek. I still think I should wait!
