Second month of low straight to peak

Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me please.

I’ve been using Clearblue advanced Ovulation tests for over a year (sadly miscarried in May) and since the miscarriage there have been two occasions where I’ve been using the tests and they’ve gone straight from circle (low) to static (peak).

I feel like I’m missing critical dtd days! Me and my dh planned to dtd every other day this month but to start every day as soon as we get a smiley flashing or static . So last night was out night to ‘skip’, woke up this morning tested and it’s gone to peak with no flashing!

Why is this happening? I’m worrying that there’s something wrong Sad

If you read the instructions it says some women never get a flashing smiley. It's totally normal.

Good luck

I have and even though I know they say it’s normal it never happened to me before. But since the miscarriage it’s happened twice Sad

firstly I’m sorry for your recent loss op Flowers please don’t worry that there is something wrong with you, there isn’t, I often missed the flashy face and went straight to static, it’s totally dependent of your surges And what the test considers high, just DTD as you planned, the static only indicates your due to ovulate soon so you haven’t missed the boat , for me I found the digi detectors weren’t great ( for many they are) As I found them quite inconsistent, sometimes straightforward to static sometimes just flashing, I found purely temping the best way,

Lymphy · 14/12/2018 16:23

Oh and after a recent pregnancy your surges can be stronger hence the static

Mine went from the circle to static smiley and I fell pregnant so I wouldn't worry at all! Remember you ovulate 24-48 hours after the surge, give or take, so as long as you dtd day of the static smiley you aren't missing any chances.

Thank you both for your comments.

It’s just so hard, before the miscarriage I had the typical ‘perfect’ cycles and the tests would work the typical way but the last few months everything seems all over the place. It’s so frustrating! X
