I'm starting the dreaded 2WW.
Anyone else?

😊 I will test on the 18th but AF usually arrives before my testing date. Haven't noticed any symptoms yet.

Got my peak two days ago on clear blue I'd say I'm about 1 day past ovulation 😬 hoping this month is my month after 3 miscarriages this year I've give my body time to heal and a long holiday abroad I have been trying again for 3 months 👌🏻

Hi ladies! I’d like to join please. After a chemical pregnancy back in November, I’m now 2dpo. Feels like an age since the last 2WW.

AF is due on 23/12. Would be amazing to tell OH that he’s going to be a daddy at Christmas. Not getting my hopes up though.

Hope to see a lot of Christmas BFPs on here. 😍 x

Anyone testing this week? I’m struggling to hold out until Friday but I know I should wait until AF is due at least.

@beibikeiks Yeah, testing early isn't always helpful and usually I wait until after af is due to test. But I have 2 Frer's in my bathroom and wondering if testing at 8dpo (for context that would be three days before af due as I have shorter cycles) with fmu might bring back something? But either way, I will probably avoid drinking on Friday anyway just in case.

@LillianFullStop I will probably test on Friday. Partly just as I have never tried frer's before and would ideally love a heads up on the situation before my work do.

I have not held out much hope this cycle as did not dtd as much as I would have liked. But after experiencing a lot of cm plus a stabbing pain in stomach yesterday was getting a little excited. Need to keep my feet on the ground so that I can manage my disappointment if we don't conceive. Plus hopes dampened a bit today as had more typical pre-af symptoms- very tired (fell asleep after work), craving all the bad things, headachy and bloated. Hope we all get our bfp's soon!

I swing from being 100% convinced I’m PG to 100% convinced AF is coming (due tomorrow). Gosh this TTC is such a rollercoaster ride! Lots of cramping over the last week, cm, super tiredness/sleepiness - not too different to usual pre-AF which is why I’m so easily convinced of one and other! Would be good to know either way so looking forward to using that FRER in my bathroom. I have an evening out on Friday eve too so would be good to know before hand 🙂

Morning! FX for those of you testing tomorrow that you see 2 lines!

I’m now about 9dpo. I had pains sun-tue but they’ve now finished so I’m praying they were implantation cramps. Yesterday I started with lots of saliva and a metal taste in my mouth, and I think my boobs have changed, they are still sore but not as bad as they were, but I think they are a little swollen and darker. Just hope I’m not imagining things! I have a long cycle so am not supposed to test until Wed next week (15dpo and day af due) but I might do a FR on Sunday...trying not to get too excited.

@FeeneeTTC metallic taste in the mouth is def a good sign as I don’t think that’s a pre-AF symptom!

@heiheithechicken I won’t be much help as I’m due tomorrow and twice today I was ready to POAS already!! just one more daaaaaayyyyy. then the devil on my shoulder says: one day won’t make a difference just pee already!! @FeeneeTTC is planning for Wednesday too I think so it might help to have someone to hold off with.

Trouble is the closer I get to 14DPO the more I get my hopes up - I’ve gone as far as calculating what the due date is and if DD1s newborn clothes I’d set aside would fit seasonally...

I’m so jealous that you ladies are so close to testing. I’m only 3dpo today. My skin has gone so oily, and only a small bit of ovary pain today as opposed to lots of twinges and cramping yesterday.

What dpo should/can you test? From what I’ve beem reading, there’s no point testing before 7dpo, and around 10-12dpo is prob the earliest sensible testing time??

@Langpants - I got faint lines at dpo10 with DD1 on the old Boots HCG strips. Shame they don’t do them anymore!

Langpants im the same stage as you! I’m due on 24th Dec but if there is no sign of AF I’ll wait until 26th to POAS. I don’t want the disappointment on Christmas Day

I'm 7DPO and getting itchy to test AF due next Thursday so I'm going try get to Tuesday/Wednesday!

Im on cycle day 17 and AF is due on Christmas day!!
could be the best or most disappointing Christmas yet!

Hi everyone, I'm 6DPO at the moment and going mad with symptom spotting. AF due any time between 22nd and 25th. Going to try and wait until after Christmas to test if it doesn't arrive. It's only our first cycle trying for DC2.
Had some twinges on my right side yesterday that I'm hoping is implantation and this afternoon nearly lost my lunch when a lady I work with heated up some chow mien and curry sauce. Super early for that though.
Keeping my fingers crossed for us all!

@lavenderbluedilly - that’s a good point. I’m thinking I have lots of social stuff over the Christmas period so will be able to have a bit of fizz if this month isn’t the month... 😜

@Octobergirl91 - I think I’ll feel the same as you. So hard to hold out, but man are those FRers expensive after a while! (I now have a stack of internet cheapies as well)

Sounds like there are a handful of us in the same boat with the same dates @03cclarke - hopefully we can stay strong and not get too obsessed. I’m symptom spotting already. Definitely got ovary pain/cramps since 1dpo! Had a bad stomach yesterday as well (for no real reason).

@LillianFullStop Feel like I am chickening out of testing tomorrow now! No spotting yet which I often get at this point in cycle which is getting my hopes up even more. But also had cycles without spotting up to CD24 (on CD22 now). I just don't know if I'll be in much of a festive mood if it is BFN tomorrow plus I will probably not drink regardless of result in case it is a false negative. Will see how I feel tomorrow. Good luck to you, hope for some good news!

Tested today @goldflakepaint and it’s a BFN 😭. I guess I’m free to drink away tonight and over Christmas!

I’ll test again in 5 days if AF still doesn’t show up

@LillianFullStop Urggh, BFN's are crappy, hope you're okay. You're not out until AF shows up- this is something I need to remind myself as whilst I decided not to test today, I had a tiny bit of pink spotting this afternoon which has deflated my hopes quite a bit as I usually get spotting before af starts. Good luck to both of us!

Hello!! I am around 10dpo negative frer today... having this very odd bubbling fluttering feeling in my stomach??

@WishesFor2018 it could be a bit of gas which is a common PG symptom
