Ovulated, not pregnant but no period

Hi everyone, wonder if anyone is able to offer any advice please.
I came off Cilest after 13 years in July and had a normal but very light and short period in August, i then had another short but light period exactly 28 days later and then tested positive for ovulation on the strips pretty much to the day when it should have been.
However, this month nothing - i am now 3 days late but have done a pregnancy test which is negative so i cant understand why i could have ovulated but not had a period. Could this still be pill related?

A positive on the strips doesn’t guarantee you ovulated - just that you had an LH surge and your body was gearing up for it.
Perhaps ovulation didn’t actually happen then and happened later, so your period would be later?
Your cycle might still be out of whack post-pill.
