How long until your first period after stopping pill?

Hi, I have stopped my mini pill and waiting for my first AF.

Just wondering if previously on the pill, how long you have waited until your first period arrived?

@Monipop84 That's interesting. Im willing to give anything a go to be honest, I just want my period to start. I've started taking vitamin b and zinc in the hope that helps.
Did you start drinking raspberry tea because you wanted your period to start? I'll look it up.

@pastaallday yes I heard it can help regulate periods and was fed up of waiting and starting to worry. As I said, my period turned up 3 days later!
Recently I’ve been taking B6, zinc and magnesium which I think might be helping regulate them as my cycles are still on the long cycle and I did have some pre period spotting too which I think might have stopped now.

With dc1 I got my period 2 weeks after stopping pill and concieved on that cycle, but after that I breastfed so had no period but then i stopped and still no period and then on mini pill (also desogestrel) so my body has had no proper time to get back to normal.

But the thing is i would always still get a monthly "period" on the pill. I havnt even had that. I feel like my cycle has been messed up so just hoping so much that i get a period in the next few months.

Sorry for the life story lol.

My dc1 is 15 months now so add 9 months to that and thats the last proper period that I had... 24 months

I had no withdrawal bleed after stopping mini pill, a light period 28 days after, then a proper period 25 days after that. Looks like things are settling down.

41 days for me off Microgynon

I've been off Cerelle (mini pill) for six months now and no real period yet, just one very light bleed about a month ago and a lot of BFN tests. Frustrating but (according to my GP) not at all uncommon unfortunately....

I was about a month after I stopped.

I don’t know whether it helps but I came off Microgynon 30 in January, my withdrawal bleed started on 21st January, and my first natural period started on 17th February. That was a cycle of 27 days.

I took my last mini pill (Cerelle) on the 30th of December. I had a week long withdrawal bleed from the 15th of January and then got my first period on 15th February which lasted 6 days.
I'm hoping I'll stay in this rhythm now although I've read a few people have a couple of normal bleeds and then don't bleed again for months I wish I'd come off sooner!

Just over a month, but only one cycle so far.

I know this is a old post, but reading the replys is like watching a car crash. Ive stopped the mini pill and no sign of AF and lots of BFN. :(

I wished i came off sooner, you cant help but laugh at the fact you spend years preventing a pregnancy and finding out its not that easy to fall :( sharing baby dust to all x x

I also am in a similar position. I came off the injection in Jan After being on it for probably 10 years and been on the mini pill Since Jan which I stopped end of August. So far 3 1/2 weeks and no period yet. I am not sure if I am ovulating or not but am taking my temp daily when I wake up. I set an alarm for 6 am each day. I’m TTC but don’t really get CM much so at the mo I’m just going by my temperature when I think I’m ovulating. OPKs have not really indicated high fertility as the test line has always been lighter then the control line.

I am suffering since coming off the pill with tender boobs and sore nipples and just feeling abit run down, which hopefully means hormones are doing something.

@Kaylamc @Moocher90 so less than a month after I wrote that post I was pregnant and now have a one year old!

So please try not to worry if it's only been a couple of weeks. I came off the pill in September and by mid Dec I conceived (still hadn't had prooer periods or anything). I started using OPKs so knew when I was meant to be ovualting and had a positive ovulation in December and then 10 days later got a positive pregnancy test. Good luck to you both x

@Kaylamc how long has it been? I came off the pill Sunday and my withdrawal bleed started today. I've started taking pregnacare today as a few people have said it helps get it back regular sooner but again, everyone is different! Im notnplaning to TTC until December so tried to get ahead of the game a bit!

I was on combined pill, Rigevidon, had withdrawal bleed then took 141 DAYS to have a new period. Now on CD46 of cycle 2

Hey guys, I know it’s been a while since you wrote on this post but I’m wondering if anyone can help me? I stopped the mini pill 2 weeks ago and I haven’t had any bleed at all:/ when did ever one else periods return. I only took 1 packet of the pills before that I was on the marina coil and my period returned 4 days later. Just so anxious:(
