Anyone else ttc? keep seeing old posts!

Hi all,

I am new to the site and wanted to speak to other ladies who are ttc.

Is anyone else a few days post ovulation? I am now in the 2ww and trying not to obsess over it too much. I didn't use any ovulation tests but had a strong feeling I ovulated on CD14 due to a few reasons.

Would love to hear from others and where they are at so we can follow everyone's journey and keep our spirits up!

@Amelia166 I have had some very light cramping over the last few days on and off which a lot of girls tend to say could be implantation but I'm trying not to get my hopes up! Other than that I feel pretty normal to be honest!

@purplestar9 I had a bit of cramping before AF was due but I just thought it’d come a bit early..So probably a good sign for you!

@purplestar9 I totally understand! I kept trying to distract myself. Keep us updated please! Just gone to the hospital for blood work, going back on Monday for results.

Amelia166 omg congratulations!!!! That's so amazing :) I feel like this is a lucky thread lol when did you start getting sore boobs? I'm due in about a week and haven't got any symptoms so don't think it's going to happen for me this month xx

@ashers89 I wouldn't start getting disappointed just yet! For most people the first symptom is a missed period...stay positive xx

Hi guys ☺️ I’m currently on my 6th cycle trying for number 2, feels like an life time. Normally quite spot on with periods only ever been maybe 3 days late tops. As of today I am 6 days late, I did take a clear blue digital yesterday but was saying not pregnant. Been told they aren’t very reliable though? I have had cramps/lower back ache/heartburn and a lot of clear discharge or sometimes even whiteish. I have ordered the cheap tests from amazon so will try again this weekend if no ads. Anyone been in a similar situation?

The digital clear blues just need a higher amount of pregnancy hormone to show up as pregnant. I'd personally try a first response, I think from what I've heard they're the best :)

She is turning 6 in December and is looking forward to being a big sister as soon as it happens 😊 yeah I will give until end of the week and try. I suppose I’m just surprised since when I fell pregnant with my daughter I used a clear blue digital and had an instant response probably befor af was due, just not as instant now.

@ashers89 thank you!! I feel like this thread brought good luck to me too 😄. I had sore very boobs since around the time I ovulated, I usually get them before AF is due but this time it was very sore a little earlier. But people are all different! Some get it just days before getting a BFP.

Hi @Ellii! 6 days late seems like a very positive sign. I got clear and yellowish discharge as well around the time AF was due. Maybe you should just do a blood test In a lab? I used clear blue digital anyway and it gave me 2-3 weeks result.

Hi @Amelia166 ☺️ That is what me and the other half thought too, but then I have read so many saying that I could have ovulated later (never done it before so would be a first) and then others are saying that there might not be be enough hcg yet. I will try again towards end the of the week though, I don’t see how I can be this late and not be though haha. Is this your first pregnancy?

Hey, I'm gonna join in! TTC no2 and only started last month. I have a 6 year old already. Due to ovulate at weekend going by Ovia App which is normally spot on with my periods etc (used it for period tracker for months before we decided to start TTC), but I'm just taking relaxed approach as when I fell pregnant with my son I conceived the day my period finished (only DTD once that month due to sickness and it was the day my period ended) so perhaps I'm an early O'er! Bit nervous about it all, hoping that it doesn't take too long as Hubby already thinks he's too old

@Ellii every pregnancy is different so if you are pregnant it could just be your the hormone is rising a bit more slowly than the last one :)

I'm around children a fair amount, I currently have 7 nieces and nephews and will have another one in less than 6 weeks!!

@purplestar9 that is true I would have just thought would have shown already, I still have cramping today but no af and I’m 7 days past expected af date, I did have a clear blue digital left so did it this morning with fmu but it was a dud l, didn’t work at all. I’m going to get a frer after work and see tomorrow morning if anything comes up ☺️

I did try to feel my cervix and it’s all soft and squishyish today and seems to be higher up, yesterday it was hard. Does that make any difference?

Amelia166 yeah that's true just annoying because I've been pg before (ended in m/c) and I remember feeling pregnant early on my boobs were first sign so I stress myself out during these two weeks lol will know soon enough but anyway hope your still feeling all excited about your amazing news :)

Only weird thing I have right now is a stabbing pain in my left boob it comes and goes. Not sure what that's all about

Did an frer with fmu this morning, bfn 😩😭 still no af though and if I go by Flo I am 8 days late today. Any ideas? Could it just be that the hcg is too low for a frer as well? Maybe I ovulated later than I though, or af could just be very late.

If af still hasn’t shown up next Wednesday and no bfp either I’m ringing the doctors for a blood test, I’m going crazy here. So emotionally draining and the other part doesn’t really understand that

@Amelia166 So this happened this morning!! I honestly can't believe it! I woke up DH to tell him and he didn't believe me at first! 2 days before our 1st anniversary! 😃
