@Earslaps was it like a normal period for you? I've had the worst cramps I've ever had and I've been 'on' for two days now, but it's lighter than AF (I'm usually super heavy) and it's come a week early too

@MrsGsnow18 I'm sure I've read that hormones should rise around three days after implantation bleeding, so maybe test again in a couple of days

I've just had this too, slight brown cm last night and this am but not due at till next weekend. I did test at lunchtime today and was negative, maybe I will wait a few more days and do it first thing!? Never had this with my first two.

@cupcakesandglitter it was just a bit of light spotting really but very painful cramps beforehand.

Oh okay @Earslaps - I had a small brown spot on my panty liner in the evening, and when I wiped there was blood. The next day 'AF' kicked in, and it was possibly one of the worst pains I have ever felt. I was actually going to go to the hospital! (Napped it off instead)

It's not been as heavy as AF, and judging from today I'll be off tomorrow - completely abnormal for me, usually it's 5 days not 3!

I don't know what's going on 😩

So - couldn't bear to wait any more and took another test this morning. At first look appeared negative again, however a VERY faint line does seem to have developed over the last hour. But it's a REAL squinter - so much so I'm not even gonna bother showing my hubby because he'll say I'm imagining it. Bleeding has all but stopped now - started Friday and never progressed past a bit of brown when wiping (sorry if TMI) - never needed a pad or anything. I usually have very heavy periods but not actually due until tomorrow or Wed i think. So - basically still none the wiser what is going on. Suppose I'll just wait to see if I come on properly or not, and maybe buy some cheap tests from Poundland so I don't bankrupt myself when I can't resist testing again before I should! Driving myself mad here...

@OhFFSMum I use the Poundland ones - I tested today and it was very clearly a negative 😂 but I've heard good things about them! Maybe test tonight or in a couple of days?

My 'AF' has now finished, making it a grand total of three days of heavy, painful bleeding. But still doesn't feel like it was AF, and my boobs are still super sore!

@cupcakesandglitter - i popped to PL and bought some today (loads for less than a tenner! Fab). But straight after that I seemed to come on properly . Although - like you, it still doesn't feel right? The bleeding seems to have slowed down again now, and I just 'feel' pregnant - I can't explain why tho. Boobs are massive and I'm pretty certain I have a heightened sense of smell. I did take a PL test this afternoon and seemed to be a clear negative :(. I'll try again in the morning and I suppose just see if I actually come on or not (due wed I think). Just weird but I feel like I'm going mad at the moment

@cupcakesandglitter - when were you due on? Are u actively TTC?

This is our first month actively TTC - I was due on around Friday this week, so I 'started' a week early. The cramps I had were out of this world, and it only lasted three days!

@cupcakesandglitter same here our first month trying and I also came on early... Due today and seems to have finished again!? Two tests this morning both negative. So who knows what is going on .. are u going to test again or just see what happens? Strange about the cramps and short period tho!?

@OhFFSMum definitely 😩 I tested yesterday (not fmu) and it was negative. I've read that it can take around four days for hormones to kick in after IB, so i might try in a few days. Boobs were soooo sore last night which is unlike me, but they're back to normal this morning 😩

I'm not sure how to go this month - I'm kind of wondering whether we should just DTD whenever and not put pressure on ourselves, and see if my cycle is normal this month? How do you feel about it? X

@cupcakesandglitter - two more 'negative' tests today, i put that in inverted commas only because I'm sure I saw the faintest of lines on the second one. All bleeding and cramping has stopped now although I do get the odd belly pain. I can't be sure but think boobs are less full and painful. So who knows ...

What are u going to do?

I have no idea, I'm going to see how I go, and see what my cycle does this month. I'll monitor it and then speak to my GP if it doesn't get any better I think - not sure I can do much until then 😩

Both pregnancies I've had brown discharge at the time my period was due 12dpo to 15dpo) . For maybe 3/4/5 days. Red blood never appeared. Got bfp on 15dpo. Good luck

Hey ladies. Still BFN this morning. I really hoped today would be the day I got a BFP as I'm 15dpo today :( . Stomach is bloated, boobs big and a bit sore (my little boy kept kicking them all night and it HURT), I'm a hormonal crazy woman... Maybe the three / four days of light spotting was actually my period? But I've never had that (I'm nearly 37) - they're always always crazy heavy. Getting really pissed off now tbh. I'm gonna buy a First Response if I can as everyone seems to say they're the most sensitive and I'll try and leave it a couple of days. But yeah - feeling pissed off / down about it all now. How are u ladies doing?

I had an implantation bleed on my first pregnancy. It was like the start of a period but a week early. For me it was reddish blood and lasted a day. Last Wednesday exact same thing but I assumed an early period as we are not ttc at all but by Friday I was suspicious of why my period had vanished and lo and behold I am pregnant. Complete and utter shock. BTW I never had an implantation bleed on my second pregnancy with DS.

Not with my first pregnancy, but when TTC with DC2 I had period like cramps and a tiny amount of bloody discharge which was very unusual for me.

I can remember telling MIL she said straight away perhaps there is something there, she has the same before finding out she was pregnant too.

cupcakes I can't remember with the first pregnancy of I had other symptoms. I was really tired around the time my period should have arrived but we were moving house and dh was away so it was a pretty busy time anyway. Didn't test that time till he came home so I was probably 20dpo at that point.
2nd time I was so sure I wasn't pg I went mad on amazon and bought 200 ovulation predictor sticks. Got my bfp the next day only took the pg test to prove to myself that I wasn't pregnant, my period was on the way so I could stop checking my undies every 4 seconds to see if it had arrived!

@OhFFSMum I'm with you on feeling crap. I had the most surreal dream last night that I had a beautiful baby boy, so I'm now even more upset because I thought I was pg. I've got sore boobs too (I've actually not worn a bra for two days because they're hurting so much). I'd try an FRER, let me know how you get on x

@JaneDarcy aww I'm pleased you got your BFP 💕 I keep hoping that it'll happen to me and it I'll have to keep testing to prove to myself I am 😂 it's so sad, but I just wish I had a reason for this month messing up! X
