Chemical pregnancy help?

Hi,
Last week I got lots of faint positives on different brands of pregnancy test but they weren't getting any darker. I prepared myself for the worst & yesterday I started to bleed. The bleeding has been much heavier than anything I've experienced & my back/ribs have been quite achy but it's manageable with ibuprofen. I took another HPT this afternoon & there is still a faint line. Is this normal? Does it take a few days for the hormone to leave your body even after a big bleed? I haven't consulted my doctor about this. Any advice appreciated!

I think I was five days late ovulating, but I missed the peak- typical! So given that I was four days late, that seems about right.

Hope your cycle gets back to normal next month.

So I woke up this morning with a lot of CM, found one lone ovulation test at the bottom of my drawer & took it. So thinking probably ovulate soon.. cycle day 21. So the chemical did set me back a bit!
