@Kee80 I didn't do anything when I rang the direct access midwife number on Tuesday I asked if I would get an early scan and the lady didn't know as she didn't normally do that job but said she would make a note to clarify and then I just got the call today.

I was just talking to my husband about booking a private one this morning too so I'm glad I didn't.

@Anyday88 that's good then. With my last miscarriage I spoke to the doctor over the phone, told him I was worried due to previous miscarriage. I was about 5 weeks, he said he would get the midwife to ring me! Never got the phone call.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone testing tomorrow. 😊

I called GP today and they gave me a number for the midwife to book in, I didn’t get through while I was at work but will try tomorrow again.

How many days before your AF did you get your bfp?
I didn't track my ovulation so have no idea how many days past I am but I'm desperate to know 1 way or another. I've taken a few of the online cheapy tests but they have all come back negative......it's way too early to tell but I'm driving myself mac not knowing.

I'm really nervous- my last pregnancy was an ectopic so I'm petrified that will happen again......would also be unlikely to get pg first try as I lost my tube as a result. So pleased for all the positive results and that you have scans booked :-)

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe when is your period due? I tested 3 days before mine was due. Got a faint line on ICs then tested with a frer and got a clear line. Good luck

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe I tested 3 days before AF due with a clearblue early detection one and got a BFP. Sorry about your ectopic pregnancy, I’ll keep everything crossed for you.

I'm out ladies, bleeding today, guess it's good it came early, saves me more days waiting.

Any of you ladies having any symptoms? I feel normal apart fro the odd cramp here and there. Also some days boobs feel bruised and heavy some days they feel normal! I'm so paranoid

@kee80 i feel quite bloated and nauseous this morning. Also I keep getting really hungry! But that's about it x

Well just been to the doctors to tell them how worried I am and if I could get an early scan due to 2 losses. Basically told me to try not to worry, won't do any tests unless I've had 3 and booked me in with the midwife when I'll be 9 weeks!!!

@kee80 Really this is my first time trying so I have no experience but I rang the doctors on Tues and they booked me in with the midwife for 25th July when I will be 6 weeks. Then I've booked a private scan for 7th August when I will be 8 weeks. I'm sure everything will be fine for you 🤞🏻try not to worry x

Kee80 have you thought about booking a private scan. They do them in my city from 6 weeks and they only cost £70/80 which I don't think is too bad. Used to work for a private health insurance company and the prices they charged us were often 5x's that.

meant to say not due on till Friday.....so a week away. It's way too soon to tell but I just want to be so badly!

@Kee80 I feel a bit bloated and have been having some weird cramps, I have colitis which is playing up the last week so some of it could be that my boobs are really sore and DP thinks they already look bigger. Maybe look at an early scan to put your mind at rest? It’s natural to be worried after MC.

@kee80 @KissMeLikeYouMissMe Yeah we looked at the Babybond ones which you can get done in Mothercares around the country - they do them from 6 weeks for about £80 if it would give you peace of mind - we'll be getting one I think. Especially when you are TTC and can find out so early!

Thanks ladies. The doctor I saw today was basically rubbish, looking at me like I was crazy!

Think what I'll do is see another doctor when I'm around 6weeks and ask if I can go for an early scan or see the midwife earlier!

If not then I'll have to get a private scan

Missmini I have IBD, Have you been through a pregnancy with colitis before, I've been a bit worried about how it will effect my problems if I do get pg? Didn't have it with my last 2 pregnancies but they were over 10 years ago.

All I can do at the moment is sleep- I'm hoping that's a good sign. If I'm not then I'm going to go to the dr abd get my bloods checked because I'm exhausted.

@Kee80 That is rubbish. Sometimes you just have to persist with them before they listen - you know yourself better than they do so follow your gut.

@KissMeLikeYouMissMe no this is my first, I spoke to my specialist before I was TTC he says it goes one of 3 ways, it gets worse, it stays the same or it gets better in some cases. Mine seems to be getting worse but it could just be a flare. I will give it a few days and if it doesn’t settle I’ll call my specialist. Everything I’ve read says being tired is one of the first symptoms you get so 🤞🏻. What age are your kids?

@MissMini I know. Really didn't like that doctor at all. Also told him about water infection that keeps coming and going.
Just said mmmmmm do you want to do a urine sample!!

@Kee80 there’s a few at my practice like that, I worked out the days of the week they’re there and try and a for another day!

Missmini kids are 10 & 11. We sat down as a family and the kids would love a little brother or sister so they're on board. It's just a bit scary that we are potentially going back to the beginning as the kids are pretty self sufficient now

So today is the exact point in my last pregnancy that I started to misscarry, so far so good today and trying to stay positive.
