Just been diagnosed with this form of endometriosis and I’m in the process of seeing a specialist to get removed.
These are my symptoms- pelvic pain daily which then feels like a burning sensation down my legs.
Pain in the rectum
Constant back ache/pain
Generally feel quite crap ha ha. I suspected it was located here as my periods are actually ok and with my symptoms being daily I though the bowel must be involved as obviously it’s active most of the time.
Going on Zoladex next week to try and calm things down.
I had a laparoscopy 8 days ago. He did a lot of work then so I’m hoping the pain subsides soon but I’m healing well!! X
Ps. I had this on the general health threw but nobody replied x

hope you feel better soon! and luck with the zoladex. i'm going to be starting on it when i stop breastfeeding. i've heard mixed things about it! are you on the endo revisited facebook group? it's really good for advice and support Smile

@tomhardy- I’m trying to stay positive that it will do be some good. I had no symptoms from the endo when on the pill, so I’m keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻!
I know it sounds crazy. But as I was only diagnosed a week ago I’m still getting my head around it all so don’t feel ready to just any support groups. All you lovely Mumsnet ladies have been fab x

Hi @kate8989! I would recommend the Endometriosis UK forum on Health Unlocked -- lots of good and knowledgeable support on there.

I'm in a similar position, and am into my second month of Prostap. It's taken 6 weeks or so for me to notice any difference, but I think it's helping.

Hope you recover quickly and feel better soon Flowers

Thank you- I’ll see how I feel. I find some of the forums quite depressing and not very optimistic. I’m trying to stay positive going forward with the diagnosis and the Zoladex. Keeping everything crossed I feel better and maybe on top of the world after my second op lol x
