Hi, I'm new to mumsnet today and have been reading everyones messages. Everyone seems really nice and I can't wait to get involved. Am having a bit of trouble with the abbreviations though!! I am ttc but am really terrible with dates and stuff. I have been on the pill for the last 2 and a half years since my daughter was born. I was moved from the combined to the mini pill by my GP due to headaches but only took mini pill for 10 days before I persuaded DH that I wanted a 5th child. Does anyone have an idea how long it may take for periods to get straight after taking the mini pill? With only taking it for such a short time I don't know if it will matter. I last had AF on the 26th May and stopped taking the mini pill on 2nd June. Haven't had AF since. Obviously I did a pg test but was neg. although it was only £2.99 from Tesco.

Just after a bit of advice. With my other children I just conceived on a wing and a prayer. Didn't do date checking or anything. This time round I feel completely different. I think it may be my age, I feel desperate to get pregnant. I stopped taking the mini pill on the 2nd June. Should I wait for AF before even counting days or is it possible that I will still ov. Last AF was 26th May

Have just updated my details as they were a couple of days out. I got BFN yesterday (i know I shouldn't test this early - cd29 but had 42-day cycle last month) and it has really depressed me. I feel like I will never have a baby. It was so easy last time (1st cycle ttc but MC at 13 weeks). And I am going on holiday to Normandy, camping, a week Sunday and Normandy is currently under water Life is sh*t!!!

Just tested and got BFN - don't know WHY I bothered cos am only CD 19 I think I must be a little bit mad. Am still getting cramps so think early AF on it's way again. Hey-ho. Doc said was nothing to worry about as was often weird after MC though.

Did anyone watch the Jordon and Peter thing last night the baby diaries It was quite sad it showed her at the Hospital at the being when she found out about the miscarrage last year I had no idea she was 20 weeks pregnant when she lost the baby now look at her sith a lovely week old baby so it can happen to all of us x

Am on CD13 today and am doing Clueblue Ov tests there was a fain line this morning so all on for Ov n Wednesday I do have a few Q though (some of them really silly so sorry )

Right firstly if the clueblue sticks have indicated I have OVed does that mean I diff have - can you have a surge without an egg being released????

Secondly after bding (sorry for grossness) can all the sperm come out I lay with my legs up and bum on pillow but it seems loads come out also I always need a wee after (legs up for about 10 minutes then need a wee!) so could I be losing it all????

I watched it cried, as soon as her scanned i told dp theres no heatbeat omg theres no heart beat.
She was very brave, its not her first mc she had abortion then mc then harvey then jnr then mc the dd!

i had my bum right in air legs rsted on wall like back wards headstand when i conceived dd, i always try not to wee after bding but it really difficult as i dont like mess!
Also i curl up of front chest on bed bum in air thats easier for me try stop like it at least 20/30mins

I know when the doc said the baby is lying at the bottom not moving with no heart beat I felt so sorry for them and she was so strong bless her 20 weeks thats far gone too!
