Does anyone know how reliable ovulation stick things are? I peed on one and it said no 'LH surge' but I was supposed to be on most fertile days according to calendar on internet.

soph i find G&B fruit and nut chocolate is a wonderful consolation / celebration / home by myself on a friday night....oooh might go and buy some!

EllieG the same here and my cm suggests i am as well! I dont get it also i am fed up of neg tests so i am not going to bother with them next month!

I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle. I tested yesterday, way to early I know but couldn't resist, got a bfn, no suprise really so will be joining the testathon this weekend, Saturday (or maybe tomorrow if I can't resist). I'm trying not to get to excited as there's a chance I didn't even ovualate until a few days later in which case there's no chance of a bfp.
I'm trying not to get too excited about the tingly boobs that started today............

well, i have done 2 tests and got 2 pink lines!!! Stll fairly light so don't feel like its quite a BFP but AF isn't due til tomorrow anyway so think this may be it! Dh is away and doesn't get back til early hours of this morning so feel bad for testing while he wasn't around but just have been feeling sooo pregnant, absolutely shattered, constipated also feel like i have put on about an extra stone in last couple of weeks! Have stuck my toe in the due feb thread and am reassured that others are expanding rapidly too! Definitely idn't feel any bigger until MUCH later first time round - guess my body is shot! Sending lots of love and good luck wishes to all you still waiting and hope to see you on the due feb thread, unless of course body is playing wicked tricks on me and will back here next week when af arrives!!!

Jacobsandlysette yeah its possible for a bfp i think! Im cd32 today 4 days late so was really hoping it would be bfp, i couldn't wait another day have no willpower! however am feeling quite crampy at the mo so think af on the way, boo!!

hurrah mamamana, false positives, however faint the line are really really rare.
The hormone that tests pick up on apparently doubles in concentration every 48 hrs - I think, so 2 days can make a huge difference to the result and strength of teh line etc..

Hijack alert - just doing some quick recruiting.
Anyone thinking of or using their temperature/ thermometer to track their cycle why not come and join the temp buddies . Anyone wanting to know more is welcome too.

We need for more lovely people due to the fact that we have has SOOOOO many BFPs over the last 4 weeks (congrat again to you girls)

According to my ov sticks I am having a poss surge of hormonds (cant remember what they are called) which must mean I will ov in the next 24 hours so havent missed it with DH back and we have the weekend so no stress of work ITS BACK ON lol

littlesoldiersmummy i am due to ov on sunday so on the stats with you a day ahead of me tomorrow would figure on the counting side of things.

fingers (but not legs as am reminded by a friend on another thread!) crossed for all of us both waiting and at the crucial time stage again

I know I should remain positive, feel a bit guilty about being on this thread at all really . We have 2 wondeful boys and were not ttc. I had a mc 5 months ago whilst using the mirina coil and had a terrible time with our doctors and local hospital, mainly as we hadn't been ttc then they thought we obviously wouldn't be upset, but it was awful.

Then I had what I thought was an implantation bleed about a week after when I would have ovulated, and we hadn't been very careful (IYKWIM) still no af though, and its really made me feel so emotional as I know I would love more children, even though dh is happy with 2 and it makes me feel guilty prattling on about wanting a 3rd child when so many people struggle ttc at all.

Have tingly breasts and cramps so should I be hopeful or not? Anyone had crampy feelings but then BFP?

by the way would love to know when I will be ov
