Hi NH - sorry to hear you're still waiting. It must be so annoying. If it is a long cycle then perhaps it's just your body adjusting after the MC. Wish I could be more helpful but sending you lots of good luck

Soph - good news that AF has stayed away and I think it's great you've managed be patient and hold off doing a test! If you are 3 days late and normally never late then I don't think it will hurt if you do a test this week (any hormone levels should have built up enough to give accurate results). Good luck!

Hi all,

pobletsmum I bought cheap tests of ebay and got a faint line, then the next day bfn so I don't know what to think! Am to frightened to test again so going to wait till end of week.(if no af) Sorry not any help but just to let you know in similar position.

My af still not here but like a few others been having cramping on and off all day today like its coming.

Morning all. Well still no sign.

nh101 - already have ds (4 yrs old). I´ve had a rumbly tummy for the last couple of days (which I normally get b4 a period) but I´ve also had a tummy bug recently so it could just be that!

Back in a min - break time.

Morning Fido & Littlesoldiersmummy - I don´t think the will power is going to last any longer Will probably go to the chemists tonight, I´ve been late a couple of times though and bought tests and it´s always been a bfn so I think that´s part of the reason for waiting. Will definitely test before Sat evening though as don´t want to drown any potential peanut in wine

Hello everyone still no sign of AF and cramps have stopped for the oment. Going to test again on Friday if nothign has happened. This is the bit I really hate, I just want to know either way - aaarrrgghhh!!

when is af due mcdreamy? im cd 24 as well and ive been really crampy. my afs due any where between this sunday and next - am also going mad

AF due anytime really but 28 days exactly is Friday!

Well AF came

Six-week cycle! Hopefully it is just my body settling down after MC and the next cycle will be shorter. I have been crying feeling distraught but feel OK now. We didn't BD on the right day (thought I OV'd the week before - doh) so can't complain. There's always next month.

But why does AF have to hurt so much, like a constant reminder you are not PG?

I now consider myself 1 week PG!

Oh NH I'm so sorry Lots of hugs. Please don't cry. As you said, nice way to think of it is first week of PG - who knows - maybe we'll both make it this cycle

By the way, I read somewhere that ovulation predictor kits may not be that good - does anyone know why? My box says it is 99% accurate for predicting ovulation.

NH - so sorry to see af has arrived. I like your positive thinking '1 week pg' is a great way to think about it. Pregnant until proven otherwise!

Soph - you are very strong to wait this long to test. I guess it will be even better if you get a positive result though, because you'll already be at around 5-6 weeks, won't you? I'll be watching & waiting for your result.

Well I re-tested with a cheapie and got the same again, with a slightly darker line, which appeared slightly quicker. Then I just coudn't resist & tested with Clearblue Digital, and saw the reult i was hoping for: 'pregnant'. I'm so happy, but cautious too. I had a tiny amount of spotting this morning, which reminded me not to get over-excited. I don't really know how bad it is to get spotting at this stage, but I'm trying not to worry about it.

Fantastic news Pobletsmum!!! Very happy for you. Am sure the spotting is nothing to worry about but take it easy and if it continues then best to get it checked out.

pobletsmum - dh reckons I should wait another week until I test ANOTHER WEEK IS THE MAN MAD!!! I´m already driving myself completely bonkers, having waited this long, they´d have to commit me if I waited another week However, I´m sure he´ll be a very happy bunny if it does come out +ive
