Faint Lines

Hey guys,

So honestly I'm really confused, usually cycles are 29-31days. My last 2 cycles have lengthened to 44 days, not sure why. Currently on 45 days, I think I have a faint positive on clear blue I also did FRER I see a little something but it's extremely hard to see.

Any ideas? Faint positive or evap. Only ever been pregnant once 6 years ago ended in early mc. Been trying ever since. 29 years old, no children.

I do have 2 more tests one frer and another clear lie, going to try to wait another 48 hours but I hate being in Limbo. I guess I need to vent somewhere body once again is acting up and working against me as usual

Keep getting pulling pains.. had them Saturday again today.. few brown spots when I wiped too so I'm wondering if it's implantation x

Hey guys so I went to the GP today lovely lady who listened to all my worries and was excellent. Her test came up negative but she also told me that first response is way more sensitive than the tests they use. She looked at my frer test and confirmed she saw a line and it may be very early. She also confirmed I have UTI. 😔 still in limbo but have more frer coming tomorrow it should be stronger. I expected the gp urine test to be negative tbh as line was so faint at home.

I’m sure if it’s early drs won’t pick up.. def pick another frer up and see if lime darker! I’m sure you’ll be fine, keeping everything crossed for you ♥️

@ rose - even after the OP getting her first faint positive on the 16th? It would for sure show up as positive now IMO.

Hi guys does another frer. Lines are still faint 😕😕 totally feeling pregnant stomach won’t stop twinging breasts are sore really nauseous. It’s been 2 days since I last tested surely it should be darker by now?

Hi Kate it wasn’t a first morning wee I took it at about midday after I got back from the shops. I have another one to do in the morning first thing. I keep waking up through the night to pee so I also feel like my first morning one isn’t going to be so concentrated.

@RLOU88 I don’t know just looking down another avenues, problem is these FRERS let us test so early, they won’t actually show a dark line till we have missed af. Mine was faint for days and then once a day or two after af it was really dark!

I can see that you are trying all avenues it’s just the same happened to me last year (eye strainingly faint for over a week and then nothing). The doctor told me if FRER picks up let’s say a 4 days earlier than the docs test, worst case scenario, at least the additional FRERs should be getting way darker now considering the first one was taken so long ago.

OP, please try to not test for a couple of days, I know it’s hard

Hey rose nope no bleeding nothing since 4th March. I know if I am I must have ovulated very late. I’m literally taking it easy day off and back to work tomorrow. There is definately something going on in my body my stomach hurts my back hurts my ribs are super sore my bras feel so tight. All the usual symptoms. It’s been over 50 days since my last period so whatever’s going on I would just like to know, not to bothered if not positive obviously I would love to be pregnant but if it’s not it won’t be the end of the world. I’ll just try again but with no cycle for so long it’s just confusing

@ReeRee6108 our positions are exactly the same. My af has only just came, 51days since last period. Had every symptom to start with! I just skipped a whole month and I was convinced x

@kate123cl I’m sorry to hear this hun what a pain make sure you relax and get plenty of rest, it’s draining going through all of this. I have been to the drs yesterday and they have done a blood test to check several of my hormones a referral to gynaecology and a hcg beta test. So I shall know by the end of the week if I am pregnant. I have put aside my fmu and I have a clearblue on the way, couldn’t get my hands on another first response. I’m cycle day 55 now, still no spotting or bleeding. Still a lot of stomach activity, the cramps are definately sharp, cannot sleep on my front it’s actually painful have a uti at present so I’m on antibiotics for a week. Probably going to end up with thrush as a result of that 😭 fantastic!

@ReeRee6108 it definitely is draining! I haven't been ttc for very long, only 1 month so not too disheartened!
That sounds quite promising then if they've taken blood tests etc! I hope it's the outcome you want! I definitely see lines on your picture so I think you are! 🤞🏼 x

@rainbowstardrops & @kate123cl thank you ladies I’ve called the drs this morning the full blood count test is normal, the hormonal tests LH,FSH, Beta HCG, Prolactin and Thyroid results they won’t tell me they have been referred to a gp to review and call me. Might have to wait until next week for the results 😔

The waiting is horrible isn’t it?

Like I just want to know and I want to scream at them because I feel they have no right to withhold information from me that’s about myself and my body

Yes I tested again still faint lines. so I’ve just spoken with my Dr. I’ve literally been in tears for the last hours. Blood test shows raised Lh & fsh. Dr confirms diagnoses of PCOS, I’ve been referred to gyno and told I may need to start metformin. The hospital didn’t do the hcg blood test that my dr requested. She is unsure why, so I didn’t get any result in regards to this. I just feel sick of my body, my hair is been thinning and falling out, I can’t lose weight no matter how hard I try. I could never get pregnant now it’s even harder, did some research on metformin it says it’s not suitable for people with kidney problems, I have had these since birth. I just feel so upset and broken I feel like a useless waste of a woman.

Hang in there OP, I have PCOS and you don't have to take Metformin, are you ovulating as you will probably be given Clomid. It's good you have been referred, think of this as a good thing, u will get slime answers and the right medicine to help you :) I have 2 DS, one was without medicine and the other took 2 years and a lot of tears before we had him :)
