Help! 2 positives 2 negatives...

I put a thread up not long ago about a (false) positive Sainsburys test. I got two positivies, then got a FRER and a Waitrose own and got 2 negatives...

I had my 'withdrawal bleed', as I'm on Dianette, this was about 2 weeks late, very light and only lasted 2-3 days, on and off...

I've now been sick twice, at random times of the day. It's come on all of a sudden, I've been sick and then felt absolutely fine!

Can anyone shed light on this and let me know if they've had similar experiences, WTF is going on with my body?!?!?!

The frer are most sensitive as far as I know so I’d get another one if I was you. It shouldn’t take long for the line to get darker.
I had one that I couldn’t really tell as the line was so faint but 2 days later it was a clear positive

mai5x · 17/04/2018 11:56

Oh I'm nervous now, I thought that was a negative! I thought it was just a shadow on the test!

Shit....

This should link to the thread with my ridiculously faint line for reference. It also shows the one I did the next day which is much more noticeable so if you do one tomorrow it should be much clearer
Hope you get the outcome you are looking for

mai5x · 17/04/2018 12:27

Thank you Hengine - You're first one looks quite a bit darker than mine!

Congratulations by the way!!

Hi Mai5x, I'd advise seeing your doctor for a blood pregnancy test.

mai5x · 17/04/2018 16:08

I think I need to!

Will they book me in for a blood test straight away, or will I have to see a normal doctor and then book in at a later date for a blood test?!

I've never had this before, my withdrawal bleeds have always been pretty much on time, this is the first time I've had to go to my doctors about pregnancy!

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light...

I've just been to the toilet and noticed brown blood, wiped and there was a bit of brown blood, no pains or anything, does anyone know what this could be?!?!?

Sainsbury are the best at detecting early pregnancy. I had two positives with sainsbury and two negative with clear blue...my son is now 4 years old ;)

mai5x · 20/04/2018 10:46

Oh god, it's so confusing isn't it Mamabear12 - just a bit confused now as I've had this 'bleed'! No red blood though but I'm not due on and have had a few positivies.....

Have no idea what's going on Sad

Has anyone else experienced this after positives?

Really light brown blood with a hint of red?!?!?!

What result did you get on most recent blood test? I found after contraception is stopped, cycles and bleeds can be really confusing.

PinkAvocado · 20/04/2018 11:54

Or if doctor didn’t do blood test, result on most recent hpt?

mai5x · 20/04/2018 12:26

I haven't been to the doctors yet. Think I will book in for early next week if this carries on.

I got the faint line on the FRER a few days ago after a really light bleed, and now I've got this bleed so I'm so confused!!!!

OP posts:
PinkAvocado · 20/04/2018 12:34

Was the line on the frer pink or greyish? It looks grey in the photo but I know irl it can look different. If grey then it may not have been a positive.

I would definitely see a doctor if you don’t get a proper bleed or clear positive as they may be able to shed light on what you should expect after stopping that particular contraception etc.

mai5x · 20/04/2018 12:56

It has slight colour to it.

Yeah I think I'll need to go next week. Just so strange, have no idea why I'm bleeding now when I'm not due on and had a bleed about 2 weeks ago.. It's not heavy at all!

OP posts:
PinkAvocado · 20/04/2018 13:06

I had really inconsistent bleeds for a few months. It’s all a mystery!

mai5x · 20/04/2018 13:14

PinkAvocado Did you ever find out what it was?

OP posts:
PinkAvocado · 20/04/2018 14:25

Not exactly but I was breastfeeding our 2 year old once at night, I had my implant removed and I’m mid thirties so I think any of those things could have had an affect. I had months with no bleeds and some cycles with really short luteal phases of 8/9 days.

mai5x · 20/04/2018 15:06

Ah I see.. I've never had this before, very confusing!

OP posts:
Hengine · 20/04/2018 15:45

I had some brown blood when wiping, Ive read that it’s normal in early pregnancy as long as it’s not red or cramping.
But that was after clear positive tests so I don’t know if that’s helpful!

mai5x · 20/04/2018 15:59

Thanks Hengine - it's got a bit heavier now and some red blood, not sure why I'm bleeding now but looks like I'm out! x

OP posts:
Hengine · 20/04/2018 16:13

Hope your okay :)

mai5x · 20/04/2018 16:15

Thanks Hengine - I'm fine, just very confused! I have no pains whatsoever, which is very very unusual for me!!

Just have to wait and see I guess!
