Hello ladies! Noticed there aren't any threads recently about ttc baby number one. For anyone trying and failing, hopefully we can all give each other some support and end up with some lovely Bfps!
I'll start off

Age :21
Cycle: 3
CD: 27

Feeling particularly fed up this month due to looking at statistics for when people conceive and feeling like my body is failing me so young.

That's really good news @WaitingForThatBFP 🙂

Cd 17 for me (usually a pretty regular 27/28 day cycle) and I think I'm 5 days oat ovulation - if my Flo app is right (not allowed to use opks for the moment as I'm on the clearblue trial on the control arm. Really hate the 2ww and desperately trying not to symptom spot, but been having these weird twinges/very mills cramps on and off all day, which I've never had mid cycle before 🤔

Hope everyone else is getting on ok?

MrsM2017 · 25/04/2018 15:11

*obviously that's meant to say "post ovulation" not "oat ovulation" 😂

Carri90 · 25/04/2018 19:57

I’m 28 partner is 33
Cycle day 37
Af- 6 days ago

I’m 6 days late but I ovulate a week before my period. My boobs feel huge and sore, cramping, feel sick. I miscarried back in October after falling pregnant on the pill. I lost the baby at 12 week and now I’m really hoping for a baby. Fingers crossed BFP’s all round very soon xxx

stellarfox · 25/04/2018 20:07

Can I join?

Age: 27
Cycle: 6
CD: 41

I came off the pill end of Sep and my cycles have mostly been around 33 days so no idea what’s going on this month as I’m 7 days late but all negative tests and no symptoms. Hoping for af to arrive so can get on with next cycle. I had a clearblue static smiley for ovulation on CD22 so what my body is doing I don’t know! Good luck to everyone!

Wishful30 · 25/04/2018 21:05

Hey everyone Grin

TTC #1
Cycle 13
I'm 35 next week and DH is not far off 26.

I've had one chemical pregnancy.
Egg count is low.
Bloods showed low hormones for egg growth.
Awaiting my progesterone results too see if I actually ovulate (had a chemical, so have done)
Then I'll need my tubes dyed to make sure they're good before going for IUI on the road to IVF.

Currently 6/7dpo going by my new clear blue monitor. Stepped up our game this month.
On/off crams. Boobs a bit tender. Temps still high. Had creamy cm (sorry tmi)
So praying for some serious luck that just maybe we're actually preggo and can hold onto this one.
🤞🏻

Wishful30 · 25/04/2018 21:11

FYI ladies that would like advice and to find out more...
London Women's Clinic:
SA test
Blood test
Internal ulrasound
Couples Consultation
cost me £400 it's not cheap, no, but I just had an inclination something wasn't right.
So glad I didn't go to the NHS to be told come back in a year.

I think if you're still in your 20's and/or haven't been trying for long, just keep going for now.
I'm 35 in a few days so have benefitted from this.

HallowsandHorcruxes · 26/04/2018 14:57

Hi SmileI'm also TTC #1

Age: 29
Cycle: 2
CD: 36

We had been trying for a while last year and had tried a few years as well but had a wee break and I went for private tests like a PP but nothing out of the ordinary found thankfully!

AF is currently 2 days late so the countdown is on !

Iv also been using the clear blue ovulation kit and it's been great, a huge help for me to figure out when to DTD Smile

dulwichdays · 26/04/2018 15:03

Hi all,

I'll join - Age 34 DH 39, Cycle 4 (MC in late January) and 4 cycles of TTC for our first unsuccessful pregnancy. Starting BBT monitoring this month to get a clearer idea of when I ovulate. Currently on day 2 of AF so right at the start of the cycle.

Decided that I'm going to book lots of lovely things in for the summer. There's no point putting life on hold in case of the "what if I'm pregnant". I've learnt over these last few months that this isn't something that we can control, and trying harder doesn't always result in a BFP!

KnitKitty · 26/04/2018 15:25

Hi!

Age: 30
Cycle: 1
CD: 2

Came off the pill early December '17, by some miracle (because I have endometriosis, one ovary and a didelphic uterus) I fell pregnant after my first AF off the pill in January but then had a MMC. The feotus stopped growing around the 6 week mark. Had two failed attempts at medical management and then had surgical management for it on 27th March. Up until Friday last week I was still getting positive pregnancy tests, but had an appointment at the EPU on Tuesday and got my first negative test, finally, so was given the all-clear. The doctor told me to see that day as the 1st day of my cycle.

Not really trying this month, but also not preventing. No idea when I'll ovulate or when AF will show up. Just the good old waiting game again.

Fredthespider · 26/04/2018 16:59

Afternoon!

Age 31
Cycle 1 I guess....

I only came off the progesterone only pill 4 weeks ago so still waiting for my first period before we properly start trying. It's an odd feeling for me having been back and forward to the gynaecologist unit for excessive bleeding to now be wanting to bleed Smile

I have a smear booked in for a couple weeks time, and then a lovely spa weekend a couple weeks after that, so the plan is to not actively try until the end of May, but we're not preventing it either.

This was a much needed thread.

TTC:1
Cycle: 5
Age: 25

Doctor told me to relax and forget everything, but it's hard to do that. I'm still testing for ovulation because me cycle is so irregular.

DoraNora · 26/04/2018 20:19

This is a much needed thread for me too!

TTC 1
Cycle 5
Age 30

I've been tracking since September and have been given cyclogest to lengthen luteal phase. Had a chemical the first month, then this cycle (the third on cyclogest) has been crazy. Period no blood, only lots and lots of clots, ovulated on day 8 (usually day 12) ...

Has anyone else had a crazy no-blood, clots-in-abundance period?

Fingers crossed we have lots of BFPs on the thread

Carri90 · 26/04/2018 20:31

Got my BFP today ladies....baby dust to you all xxxx

Wishful30 · 26/04/2018 20:33

Oooh congratulations!!!

How many dpo are you?? Xx

DoraNora · 26/04/2018 20:45

@carri90 congratulations! Great news Grin

Carri90 · 26/04/2018 20:55

I’m not sure when I ovulated, my af was due 7 days ago. Thank you.... my little rainbow baby xxx

Moole · 26/04/2018 22:43

Af arrived today after a long, strange cycle. (No more soy isoflavones for me!).
CD:1
Cycle: 4
Really need to resist the urge to take all these herbal 'miracle cures'.

MrsM2017 · 26/04/2018 23:10

Congratulations @Carri90 Flowers

Wishful30 · 27/04/2018 06:51

8dpo I know I shouldn't, but I took a test. Obv negative 🤦🏻‍♀️
I got a BFP 10dpo in January but was a chemical pregnancy.
Still keeping my pinkies crossed. Keep getting odd cramps and a kinda heavy/pulling feeling.

Baby dust to everyone Thanks

MrsM2017 · 27/04/2018 07:45

Same sort of feelings that I'm having @Wishful30, in know its mad to sypmtom spot (especially as I'm only about 6/7 days po!). AF due in a week so I'll have to keep busy til then to stop me guessing and poas!

KnitKitty · 27/04/2018 08:55

Congratulations Carri90!! :)

ALRM · 27/04/2018 11:00

Congratulations @Carrie90

HallowsandHorcruxes · 27/04/2018 21:02

That's great news @Carri90 Smile best wishes for the journey ahead!

I'm still about 4 days away from being able to test but still no sign of AF which is a positive sign. Trying not to get my hopes up too much though ... been here before Sad

Wishful30 · 27/04/2018 21:02

So in January...
I had spotting on 7dpo and 10dpo
I had cramps from 8dpo
As I was cramping so much I tested.
I got a positive test on 10dpo and a negative 11dpo.
My cramps lasted for 5 days, they got to a point where I was sitting in bed with a hot water bottle.

I've had cramps on/off for 2days. They seem to have subsided this afternoon.
I don't know about spotting as I had my smear so was spotting anyway.

Anyone in here that's had a baby know if that's a good sign or not 🤔
I'm not driving myself crazy over this, I've accepted that we are probably going for IUI next month anyway. Just curious for words of wisdom of experience

Wishful30 · 28/04/2018 20:43

Sitting on the bed watching a film wondering if I need to vom or not 🤦🏻‍♀️
Thought I felt sick earlier but shrugged it off as I figured I was imagining it.
Hope it's not just one of the many viruses going round!
Been cramping in and off for a couple of days now.
I think I'm about 9/10dpo but my fertility app says 8.
So I'm rolling with what I think.
Got a super faint line this morning, but I flooded the test a bit, so was difficult to read.
Going to test again tomorrow.
(Prev chemical pregnancy and poss fertility issues) so trying not to get too excited!!
